When you have good friends in elementary school all the way up to middle school, you really start to see their true colors once high school hits. Amen to socializing is mentally draining. Ugh, most times when my friend want to meet up I agree to meet up, but the thought of being a mom, wife and student and making sure the house is kept and my family is well fed before leaving home to meet up, is exhausting. Getting ready stressing on time and most importantly I hate spending money on things that aren’t worth spending on. I often just want to be at home left alone with my small bubble. Then maybe it’s also because over the years I’ve become more and more introverted. I’m only 27 and I already feel this way. I had a similar realisation recently. I became facebook friends with my first ever best friend recently (who i lost contact with nearly 20 years ago!). I was looking through her facebook and I thought we have nothing in common anymore, like we did when we were little kids, & if I was meeting her now for the first time we prob wouldnt be friends.
