Patches value comes in drawing combos faster because you would have 29 cards in a deck instead of 30 and adds an extra body to the field that would require some form of removal. And it's a pirate so pirate warrior exists

Mai Nguyễn Tuấn Anh "Creativity" the way most people talk about it is impossible in ranked for HS. (Moderate wall of text ahead.) All good decks are creative at first. The better a deck is, the more it is played and refined. If it has no fatal flaws, it gets progressively more popular until people consider it "uncreative". After this process repeats for all good decks (typically 1-2 months after an expansion), the only remaining "creative" decks are bad decks. Predictably (and ABSOLUTELY REGARDLESS OF THE META OR CARDS AVAILABLE), this is the point where whiny babies come out complaining about "the worst HS expansion yet" or "there's no creativity in HS". It's like watching Groundhog's Day, only without the good story.

Boar is 1 mana so it synergises with faceless. Leeroy wouldn't work because it costs too much mana to pull this combo.

Combo requires the Valeera DK to be able to go off the Hero Power copies your Coldblood then you can play Faceless Manipulator on the Boar which is 5 more damage then Leeroy Coldblood Coldblood. If you ran double Coldblood in the deck it would be the same damage though I guess.

Dylan L Mill rogue is a combo OTK deck. He literally took 3 cards out of the original list and made the combo happen 8 turns sooner.
