Sorry to hear that sistren. One thing that can stop and reverse this type of hair loss is massaging your scalp, head down, with warm oil (jamaican black castor oil)for 10 minutes, 2x a day, everyday. Absolutely no tension on the trouble area, dont even part the area. If consistent, results will start to show between 4-6 months. Started to seeing my crown thinning and did this. Wasn't easy, but after 6, 7 months of doing this (dropped to once a day with scalp massages, used a scalp massager, Amazon has them), crown thickness returned. I hope this information can be helpful, bless up

Maybe you can research fenugreek. It's a plant and it's seeds, leaves, and powder are used in Indian cuisine. I've seen quite a few natural hair youtubers crediting it with their hair growth. You can also buy fenugreek supplements at Walmart. Hope this helps and good luck with your hair journey.

I watched the video and found a couple packs of hair in my closet and gave this method a try. Used Havana twist crochets instead of locs cuz that's what I had. But it actually worked! I will say my install wasn't perfect because this was the first time I'd done ANY type of hair styling in legit 10 years. But there's no tension on my scalp, definitely none on my crown and allowed me to rock braids for the first time in over a decade. Thanks for sharing this method and your hair loss journey. It is so nice to see someone handle hair loss in such a practical way!

I love "lazy girls method crochet. My hair strands are very thin and not coarse and my density is super low too. Makes it hard . But when I want the look and basically no work I do what you did putting the locks on a ponytail holder, put that around d my ponytail and then a scarf (,wrap, or sleeve headband) so I don't even do the few individuals lol. Just my edges.
