Those guys were rocking. All I'll say is that Thin Lizzy had a succession of some of the greatest "shredders" to come through one band. With Gorman being the constant in the equation for many of those years. And the drummer Downey who's other worldly great. Their great song writer and bassist laying down the foundation.

Hiw in hell is Thin Lizzy not in the HOF of rock? There's not a heavy metal band that's had a better rotation of shredders come through the band. They're ripping the heart out of every solo. And nobody rocked harder or had a bigger sound.

Great song of a great band. The only thing is that compared to Gary Moore the two guitarists look like amateurs...
@newavatar29472 ай бұрын
I strongly disagree. Each player had their own unique style and sound. That's why they were the finest guitar driven band ever. Plus Gary probably would have wanted to turn the band in a different direction than doing straight ahead rockers. I think he got bored very easily
@monte5293Ай бұрын
The best Lizzy guitar duo was Robertson and Gorham. Even Gary Moore admitted that they were the best combination. Magical he called it.

@@monte5293 I'm sure that's what Gary said, the person he was. But we all know better...
@monte529322 күн бұрын
@@misterhamstring1782 Again, he said it in the context of the pair together, not individually. The best Lizzy sound came when those two played together.
