Not just AC/DC. I saw Lizzy in 1974 (5?) when they supported Bachmann Turner Overdrive at Hammersmith Odeon. BTO were touring on the back of the success of You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet. 15 minutes into the BTO set the crowd was still chanting "Lizzy, Lizzy". Gotta feel sorry for BTO. Blown away by their support act.

Thin Lizzy drummer Brian Downey had pneumonia at the time of this tour in 1978 and does not appear in this clip...he was replaced by Mark Nauseef from the Ian Gillan Band

Thin Lizzy: So underrated. Testosterone-driven, in your face killer hooks, catchy riffs and true innovators of double-lead guitars. Even today, I can't help but wonder what Phil and Scott could've achieved had they not got caught in the grip of addiction.
