Even the rhythm for the solo is awesome. TL was a great band which has given basics for later rock, metal and other genres. They did guitar harmonies first for instance :)

bad reputation - pretty much the perfect rock song. pumping, rhythmic bass line overlayed with great soaring twin lead guitars and brian downey's crisp and flamboyant fills and breaks. magical. always loved thin lizzy.

Yes, I remember Scott chose this Lizzy song to be featured on a tribute show on the radio at the time when Phil had just died . Great solo as usual here from Scott ; one of the tastiest lead players of this ,or any, era in my opinion !

It's hard to believe that ANYONE could play the drums like that, it just doesn't seem humanly possible. As great as everyone else is, the drummer simply blows them away on this song.

Thin Lizzy at it's finest! Lizzy always had unbelievable melodies and the twin leads were a guitar player's dream. So glad to have grown up as a teenager during this generation of quality music. You know, where musicians actually played their instruments, LOL! Not sure what you call most of the so-called music today.

There isn't a day that goes by when I dont think about this band . Phil Lynott's death was one of classic rocks worst tragedies. But the music lives on and I'm glad we have KZbin so we can watch these vid's with the adoration that only true Lizzy fans can appreciate. Brian Downey ... what a monster !!! And a rare sighting of Brian with a Strat . And Scott Gorham .. the coolest looking cat ever to wield a Les Paul Deluxe ! Thanks for all the great tunes guys, Phil , you were a genius!
