I've said it a million times and I'll say it a million more, Thin Lizzy was the most under rated band in the history of rock music.

One of the best live acts ever for sure at a minimum live bands that can actually replicate the record sound live

It's cool how Phil relaxes and draws people to hare fun together . He loved his fans , it was visible at his concerts . Phil you're great 👍🎶🎸

I sometimes ask myself the same thing.. I was born in January 1978....so I was a baby when Thin Lizzy got their respect! Still.. I was introduced to Thin Lizzy in 1985... and since then.. I am a fan. The only thing I regret is the fact that I was never able to see Lizzy with Phil... God may take care of his soul... R.I.P. Phil Lynott and Gary Moore!

And now we've lost Gary Moore as well, bet they're having one hell of a party up there! Saw 'Lizzy' live a number of times with different line ups, still got the original ticket stubbs and programs from them all, what memories ! R.I.P lads, save me a front row seat for when i eventually get up there.

You know that style of bass playing that Phillo uses is so unique, its like slap pick, which no one else tries, But than again thats a fender jazz bass. Those are the best. I mean they are so good that even Geddy Lee uses 'em!

@emanual Garcia… That’s not actually a Fender J. Phil didn’t play Fenders on the final “Thunder & Lightning” tour. He had played Fender Precision’s for years and before that Rick’s.

I find watching this rather bittersweet..Phil looked bloated and seems to have lost his youthfullness ..to know that he only lived for another 2 years after this and knowing what we know..its all very sad

good. rip phil. you can see him deteriorate. if you watch the whiskey in the jar video from 72 i think, he looks fine. in 78 during the sydney, he looks good, but not as good. and i think he looks terrible here. :(
