Ex EMT here- a good thing to know is if you get stabbed by something DO NOT PULL THE OBJECT OUT OF YOUR WOUND. Get to the ER as quickly as you can while stabilizing the object. worked in insurance claims and can confirm they can and do charge you for giving your family updates on your condition during surgery/ICU stays. they also charge for blankets and pillows. inpatient bills are billed as a bundle charge but the itemized bills show the individual charges and it can be pretty wild. i worked for a smaller company so we always asked for itemized bills for inpatient claims over a certain $ threshold.

I'm a server at a nice restaurant and the last thing you want to do is make your guest feel rushed to gtfo so you can get that tip and flip the table. Its inconsiderate to assume everyone is in a hurry. A good server pays attention to cues and can usually tell if the guest is in a rush or not. Also helps to just have your card ready so they can just grab it as soon as they drop it. But also the guest should be considerate to the server who has other tables than you and might need a minute. Just a little perspective from a normie working class girl😘
