Extra bits: 1. First off, sorry it’s been a while! As long as my PC holds out, it should be a busy December! 2. Forgot to mention that you want to exchange Champion Gundyr’s Soul for the Prisoners Chain as soon as you fight him. Check the description for some Ring set-up recommendations, although this build doesn’t particularly rely on any of the rings too much. 3. The Great Club is also amazing for Friede as she’s weak to strike. If you didn’t want to grab the Demon Greataxe, you could farm Large Titanites from the Lothric Knight by the bonfire, grab the chunks and use that until the paired swords instead. 4. I’m really interested in what sort of difficulty you’d like to see in future DS3 runs (Early DLC/ Very Early DLC/ Base Game then DLC’s). To me, this felt like a good step up from the last video without being ridiculous, but I’m a nerd with too many hours in the game. No wrong answers, let me know your thoughts! 5. If there’s any DS3 builds or weapons you’d particularly like to see a guide for, let me know. Hope you enjoy the vid!

OK. To me what makes your best guides is not the difficult runs or the glitchfests, but runs where you're having fun. A happy fishy makes for a great video. Also runs where you didn't know how good what you're using is. A pleasantly surprised fishy is a happy fishy and see above.

For the maggot monster things in Cathedral of the Deep: buy a torch. If you get grabbed by it, just whip out your torch, it will clear the maggots off of you, instead of bleed building up three times over. It's like 300 souls at the merchant in Firelink, absolutely a worthwhile investment if you're going to explore the Cathedral.

Thanks for this, those guys annoyed me. I should have tried something like that since I knew the monsters were weak to fire (as I am playing a pyromancer with a fire Zweihander).

@@paulocarvalho6480 No, the maggots stayed on me. The enemies died easily to the fire, but the annoying bleed maggots remained. Maybe I'm missing something, but there is no way to inflict fire damage on yourself to get rid of them, is there?

@@Jupiter__001_ Have a second weapon in your right hand and switch them twice. Or you can have a weapon and the torch. Even if you are two handing the sword, just switch to one hand. That way you automatically get the torch in the left hand. Do a test run and try these combinations, one of them should work.

If the goal is to get the Twin Ringed Knight Ultra’s as quickly as possible, it’s probably easier and faster to use +7 Sellsword Twinblades on Friede. Best weapon in the game imo and you don’t need to max them out. No Dancer early, No Oceiros, No Champ Gundyr, no Demon & no Abyss Watchers. You can fight those bosses later with the RK Twin Ultra’s which should be the goal…

Never played any Souls like game till Elden RIng and I love that. Will I love/like DS3?
@malikhittam144026 күн бұрын
Yes, definitely. Ds3 was the first of the fromsoft games that I played after elden ring, and it's an absolute masterpiece. The core gameplay isn't that different from what you're used to in elden ring, so you won't have trouble adjusting to the controls. The level and world design is much more linear than elden ring, but is still very enjoyable to explore. The bosses are definitely on the easier end compared to elden ring, but still very enjoyable, and some of the late game and dlc bosses are honestly just as good as elden ring's best bosses. Even after playing all the fromsoft games, dark souls 3 remains my second favorite next to elden ring. It's a phenomenal game and definitely worth playing I do want to mention that, just like elden ring, ds3 also has its flaws. Most of the bosses in the first half of the game are very underwhelming, and there are a few gank and NPC fights in the game that are just not fun at all. Some of the bosses do have runbacks which can be very annoying, especially on your first playthrough. While the dungeon design is good for the most part, some levels can end up feeling underwhelming or boring due to being a bit too linear. If your favorite thing about ER is the exploration, legacy dungeons, and open world, then ds3 might not meet your expectations very well, but if the combat, weapons, difficulty, and boss fights are what you're after, then ds3 is 100% worth playing
