Actually they don't do much at all for help at higher altitude. I work on a 14er and our EMTs hate those things. All they do is hide your symptoms.

I was actually just talking to someone about the canned air. They live near the mountains in Colorado and keep those for anyone visiting from other states because it can be hard on the body get used to thinner oxygen and they might need it. Kind of a first aid kit item for them up there. Mountain climbers probably have them too.

asthma attacks happen when our airway and lungs are inflamed and we can’t breathe, so i don’t think boost would work seeing as it doesn’t have any medicine that stops the inflammation (like an emergency inhaler or breathing treatment) and we might not be able to actually get any of the air into our lungs it could provide a little relief though, since it looks like it’s just shoving the air right into your face💀💀
