I LOVED this video. Just wow. I’m blown away by all the stuff…and the fluff…so much money spent on maintenance but they are already beautiful. I believe in keeping yourself up because let’s be real…that’s called self love but a lot of this “maintenance” is a lack of self esteem and needing validation. I wish so many of us knew just how beautiful we already are. PERIODT! 🫶🏾

For the most part I always been a diy girlie but if it was something I couldn’t do I don’t mind paying but since in became a sahw I just fully gone diy everything my husband doing more then enough take on my bills 😅 i switch to the glorified press ons of gelX nails and crochet hairstyles…..one thing major I love is not having the pressure of having to feel like I have to always look good going out and bout because let’s be honest we say we do all these things for “ourselves” but it’s for the world so people will see us thinking we have our lives together not having that weight really puts things in perspective

Hi gorgeous💕, I love that & yesss shout out to the husbands that are working hard for their families! I love held nails, they truly are convenient. I have never tried crochet but I’ve seen many styles on TikTok & social media. All the women I’ve ever seen wear it has had the style last forever & it looks natural. Whew! The washing, conditioning, and prepping your hair BEFORE the hair appointment. Just ridiculous! I stopped getting lashes this year. Waste of money. I do occasionally go to the nail salon, and get a mani, pedi, and eyebrow wax. I will admit, getting braids before a trip is very convenient.

Loved the look of the one girl that didn’t the underarm waxing and eyebrow waxing (I think that’s what she did) and then she bleached her hair. The press on nails were beautiful. Had me wondering why am I paying to go get my nails done 😆 her overall look was gorgeous 🥰

It's hard to believe that people used to live just fine without all the bells and whistles. Honestly, I think the main driver is competition amongst women. Who can look the prettiest to get the most attention. Im not saying its the only reason, just that if men weren't in the equation half of this wouldn't even matter.

I'm gonna be the one to say that this is such a social media/tiktok 'problem'. Some of this stuff is not even remotely necessary. Fillers is not 'maintenance'. The bible says we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and it's time we truly internalize that truth. Sure, enhance and take care of yourself, but to feel like you *have to* do it to be beautiful is so unhealthy. Imagine if all these women put that money into EATING HEALTHY, but no, they complain how expensive that is... after spending $1000 on beauty.

Hi Beeva, 🥰 thank you for tuning in! Amen to that, it truly isn’t all that necessary. It’s imperative to take care of ourselves for sure. I agree that media is the cause for this as well. Many of us wouldn’t have even been exposed to what most of these celebrities do if it wasn’t for social media, social media made everything way too obtainable but it’s good for educational purposes. Transforming my lifestyle on what I eat and focusing on my health I feel amazing 🙌🏾 & would recommend it to anyone looking to transform their life.
