I love how you just addressed your need to do everything you say but you know you can't. I am sure I speak for everyone here (and those that disagree might need to smudge themselves a little more) but your journey I believe affects us all in a very positive way. Seeing how you can accomplish so much, your discipline to the harvest of your garden, your business, your home and your life inspires, it doesn't let us down in any way. You might feel that but you should congratulate your self on what you do and have accomplished everyday and screw the rest of it until the time is right. I like your journey because it is motivating for me and I am sure others to see how you tackle things and weave in and out of your many life adventures (what seems so seamlessly). I marvel at your tenacity and respect for your chosen life and having the courage to give up so much to get so much more. You never let us down Ali! Just move ahead daily as you suggested with your quote. We all have those moments of saying things out loud and not quite making them happen. I think of those out loud moments as personal affirmations that I would like to get there by this time if I can vs. I must. Gives you some wiggle room! Happy Birthday in 5 days in case it creeps past. Great work and great momentum on your latest.

Seeing you enjoying nature and not just working is refreshing and reminds me to slow down and enjoy my surroundings. Happy Sunday Ms. Ally…honestly watching yours, Kyles, Roaming Wild Rose, Simple Enough, Ariel Bissett and a few others YT channels. You all are such an encouraging part of my letting go of things that do not serve my well being. You all remind me and confirm that “it” whatever it maybe can be done and not to give up; taking a break to gather myself is healthy and healing. In addition to that working on the garden, drawing, stargazing, hiking and kayaking those are when im having my deepest conversations with the Most High,Universe,etc. on the name cause that’s personal for an individual. Thank you for the reset.✨ Once again, I appreciate you more than I’ll ever be able to share. Continue Growing; It’s Contagious ❤✨.

Ally, the most stressful time in my life was when (unintentionally) I owned more than one house. Even when you're young, keeping up one house is A LOT. But keeping up one house and upgrading another is asking too much. We only have 24 hours a day, and entropy is the way of the world. It might be helpful to let go of feeling like a failure if you can't do it all the way you planned.

Ally, suggestion: You could keep the food garden at the A Frame, and do some other kind of garden at the cabin. Maybe research shady forest garden ideas, specimens of plants that are unique and meant to be grown in shaded forests, with their unique climates. You could do this garden on the same spot, or even build a greenhouse or small structure right there to keep the deer and pests away. It could be a variety of rare orchids, or other plants that thrive in that setting, not necessarily edibles, since it’s not the right setting for food growth, but rather some rare things. Just a thought… you could try something very unique and different there since the A frame garden is already so huge and abundant.
@allymariebrown21 күн бұрын
Yes! I think it certainly is time to evolve the cabin garden into something else. Like you mentioned I will have to do some research as to what will thrive and explore my options! Lots to look forward to.

Full Moon was very strong this month.....been feeling the heaviness of life but it's better this week........yes, inhaling through the nose and exhaling is a great skill to relieve stress.....i finally got my dirt bike going and a few odd jobs around the house are done......i think we have expectations for every upcoming summer and if we dont seem to be meeting them because of circumstances beyond our control it stresses us out......seems like there are always road blocks in what we want to do but relax and do a little at a time and feel good about what you did at that given moment.......then go out and get an ice cream or ride your dirt bike

I will start by saying i love the beauty in your videos. Ive never commented either, but i needed to say --thank you. I had such a rough week last week, i was definitely going through it. I am 48 yrs old and i would say very healthy but life changes with my hormones are real! I think when you give yourself permission to feel vulnerable it definitely intensifies, but it also allows you to really sit with it and hopefully heal through it too. I think also when you know your not alone with these feelings it makes those challenges not so big and overwhelming. So again thank you. Also on a side note i would love to know if u or anyone reading this has any advice on a homeopathic aid for all the different challenges menopause brings in your life. I rather take control of it with natual remedies. I also loved how u ended the video, i get energy work done like every other week and have missed a week, so that was calming. ❤ Light and love

LOL so I also adopted for big plastic boxes to put in all the cochery we use during summer, that some are sometimes eaten by mices (like the silicon mowl for cakes !!!). No problem in the kitchen anymore... problems are beds and pillows and duvets as we have 31 beds in the cabin,,,, sometimes, they nest in between !!! ARGH 😑

To prevent small animals from drowning in steep sided containers it is traditional to put a stick or board protruding from top to bottom so that there is an escape route. It wiLl also enable birds to drink and even snakes.

Is getting back to the wild the best way to heal?
@allymariebrown22 күн бұрын
It can certainly feel that way for me. So grounding and removes the noise of the modern world on many levels.

Hi Ally. This might be a strange question, but how did you get over being grossed out by walking barefoot on the muddy, dried leaf and moss, covered forest floor? I’ve gotten to the point where I can ground on dry grass/dirt, but the muddy stuff grosses me out. I often think of all the bugs I’m probably stepping on. I want to get over it. I guess I just have to keep practicing 🤷🏾♀️. Love every single video you put out ❤️.

Taking care of the A-frame is a full-time job. It’s impossible to maintain a garden in both places, in my opinion. So, go easy on yourself. In the scheme of things you are young and healthy, have a job and a partner. Many blessings

It's so true haha! So much running around and constant stressing to do both perfectly. One day I'll find my flow

You should get a female 1/2 wild one of its parents was wild or semi wild cat for your cabin because they enjoy being by themselves and it will keep the mice under control just make sure they have feed and water and watch the mice disappear alot of store keepers keep a cat in there shops at night and while they are gone..just along you take care of the cat it will take care of the mice and snakes..alot of farmers keep cats in their barns also. My cats were 1/2 wild and they are wonderful with this I never get mice or snakes inside or around my home my female in her old age is still a great mouse cat and is so good with children..

It sure was a HUGE help to have my cat Mowgli there last year! He became a ferocious predator very quickly.

Two beautiful properties! Season is chsnging!! Thank you for sharing!🎉😊 What is chauga?
@allymariebrown22 күн бұрын
Thanks a ton! Chaga is found on birch trees mostly. It is a beautiful black, amber wood-like fungus known for its immune, brain, inflammation (and beyond) benefits.

You guys need to strongly think about selling the cabin. Hard to keep two properties going when you’re already busy enough.
