@@OmarDoinStuf I usually do a long weekend , and consider a thunderstorm an awesome trip. The freshness, chill and smell is such a mental great ambiance great R and R. :) sorry everything got soaked and muddy . I'm still a little jealous ,lol rather that, than working. I Enjoy watching your trips.

It was nice, it really just stopped me from having a fire. I was more annoyed waking up not feeling good. Anyways, I’m good now and I still made the best out of it. 🙏

My wife and I were fishing at Willow Springs on Saturday. Got caught in the middle of a storm while on the water. Absolutely awesome. No lightning, though. On the fire thing. Something I learned through the years. A simple bag of fritos or doritos will get it going. Just trying to help out. Looks awesome. I always like the smell of the forest after a good rain.

My family and I were camping in Island Park, ID - a lot of years ago - when we got hit with a bad lightning and thunder storm. My tent leaked enough that my air mattress became a flotation device. I don't care for lightning, but I do love the rain.

Next time find a pine cone that was at a base of tree, and is only half wet. Start with your lighter in your chair, and in 5 min it will be a ball of flame

I really only use 4 wheel drive when the trail gets rough. Mostly I am not in it, unless I’m exploring. Sometimes I’ve forgot to turn it on and I’ve learned when I need it and don’t. I find it more important to air down.
