They don't realize rappers are only saying that cause they think that's what they want to hear. 80% of them don't live the life they rap about. They only say it to sell records. It's like 'i caint stand out from my black friends. I gotta sag my pants and disrespect women cause if I don't bro gonna think I'm weak'. Be your own man. it sounds like a good idea but it doesn't just happen like this, if black people separate them from other races it means that other races separate them from black people too and don't blame anyone, it just happen naturally, people tend to look for similarities whether they are physical or psicological, that's why means girls, bullies ,nerds and so on, usually hang out together. people have a kind of need of acceptance and they find it when they are with people that look like them. No it's not. Nothing wrong with haveing names that are not like average white Americans. Different accents are nice too. The everything's wrong until it's white is just sad. One of the issues we have is not haveing our own culture. Everyone else has a strong history and ours is just slavery. They can say I'm Irish, I'm Italian, I'm Korean, I'm Indian, we can't say things like that. They can cook meals with recipes developed in countries they descended from. We don't know if we're decedent's of South Africa or Nigeria. Our meals are just typical American meals called soul food when cooked by us. The only thing we seemed to be able to hold on to is our ability to dance our music stands out too but it always just becomes someone else's or everyone's. I agree we need to stop acting like crime is not a issue coming from the black communities but to imply that black people should just drop everything and live the stereotype of the average white man or woman is just wrong. This is America and different accents are not bad. Different fashions are not bad. Different music genres are not bad. Yes there is a problem, but it is not a because their black thing. White people who have been through hard times, live in poverty, and raised in bad ways tend to develop into bad people. Those issues are strong in the black communities.

This was 7 years ago, I was actually an underage child at the time of this post. At that time I knew nothing about race issues at all and never gave any “advice” to anyone regarding them. I just saw people as people, some more tanned than others. I moved from a mostly white area to a mostly black area. I never did or said anything racist and treated everyone equally. I remember being in gym class and a black girl was hogging the basketball and wouldn’t let the rest of the group play the game. I asked everyone in the group to say something ! None of them wanted to and I couldn’t figure out why. So I said fine I’ll do it. I went up to her and said “hey maybe we should get a chance to play with the ball”. Where i was from, we talked about things and if someone did something wrong, you called them out. Well she became extremely loud, violent, and hateful asking me why I was talking to her that way and that I had messed with the wrong one. I was in utter disbelief and shock. I had a few other instances where I stood up for what was right and I quickly learned why the other white kids knew not to say anything. As a white kid you just sort of knew you couldn’t really speak to the black kids. I was constantly targeted and in fear for my safety growing up in Memphis and have a lot of unresolved mental health issues from the terrible experience. Every black friend I have tried to make has been extremely spiteful and tried to make up lies and reasons to fight me to impress their friends. I still treat everyone equally and if someone is nice to me I’ll be nice to them but I don’t go out of my way to make friends anymore and I am very cautious.

So he keeps you down, tells you it’s the 👨🏻 fault, when in reality, the 👨🏻 has his own problems to deal with. He’s not focused on keeping you down, he’s trying to build himself up! Speak your truth anyway and if they call you racist, let them. All that is, is a defense of it hitting a nerve to a truth they carry within themselves. Stop acting ghetto, lazy, making excuses, etc, everything and everyone is not racist or against you. You are against yourself in how you represent yourself, of whom you associate with, and the things you take part in. I will hold anyone accountable for their actions and not care (your feelings are yours to figure out, not mine and I can't be manipulated, because that's what that is). A person would not react negatively if it weren't true - if the shoe doesn't fit then, why wear it? I do not care if a Black person is being called out if that person did something wrong. I am not interested in the cultural "tribal" mindset a lot of negative Black people carry. I am an individual and want no part in someone's wrongdoings, fake groups (Black card, etc.) just because we are Black. Anyway, F that, I'm succeeding and keep my circle small, of positivity and of healthy support, which includes holding me as well and one another accountable without blame, shame or harshly to cause damage, but to build, strengthen and show each other love. Discipline is love when shown/displayed in a healthy way.

2:00 I would not be surprised if he would. Actually everything from 2:00-2:20 4:56 YEEEESS (note, I'm a white guy, and I do know some black people, this is talking about the seeming majority, not all black people) I really hate judging people by the color of their skin, but most black people just don't seem to even want to be successful, or build a good life for themselves. Almost like they're content with 'low class' 'gangster' 'cool.' It's just is completely frustrating. And then I hear that some businesses and collages hire and admit black people over white people (word of mouth)? The Heck? What happened to Equality? It seems when people think of 'equality' they think of the black people and the hispanic people having the same rights as whites, without a thought to the fact that the balance could tip. The only way to get rid of inequality and racism is to forget about it. Drop it. Stop asking about your race on these sign up sheets, stop favoring some races over others, and freaken stop fighting the racism battle. what people don't seem to understand is the very favoring of a race will cause racism. Funny thing is, despite my saying most blacks are content with their 'lot in life,' I have huge respect for some black people. It seems that black people are either what I described above, or a shining example for humanity. Dr. Benjamin Carson is a good example. I love that man, he's brilliant, he's got his act together, he is willing to stand up for himself and his beliefs, he's just all around awesome. Sorry, that's a rant.

I agree man! and yes Benjamin Carson, he's the man. on the flip side of what you say: I just hate when whites act like we always gotta out due them to be basically good, for ex; if me and a white co-worker do the same kind of work, he'll act like he's always the brains and does things that he don't want me to do. like he can BS over and over with people on the job all day, but if Talk to 1 person for 1 minute, than I'm a B Ser and lazy and I never work as hard as him on his laziest day. It's not fear that I have to be something you're not to fit in. People treat black football stars, basketball stars and cebrities that make the bucks like they are white, but your neighbor next door he's automatically trouble cause he lives next door to you, no matter how good a person he is

Why don't black people stop blaming white people for being raciest to everything and why don't white people stop blaming black people for being raciest. Why don't we all just work together

This video needs to be seen now more than ever. Edit: Also one thing I want to add even though I'm not black (I'm Mexican/White raised around all Mexicans) is that black and brown people need to stop acting like it's not cool to be smart. I grew up in Vegas in black and brown dominated schools and I swear most of them dudes would bag on anyone that could read well or did well in school. They'd be like "Oh mister smart guy huh?" And make fun of you. Then they would get called on to read by the teacher or do a math problem and they literally could barely read. I always thought that was dumb af. Like why is it considered stupid to be smart? I think we should all be smart, because we're only as good as our weakest person.

I agree- no matter what race you are... no one should say the n-word. Like, I understand that Black people are trying to reclaim the word, but it's still causing a divide between the Black and all the other communities. If it's said less, then there doesn't seem to be this obligation not to say it and no one has to worry about it.

And STOP overreacting emotionally and jumping all over the room because you found something funny. I’d hire this guy except he didn’t mention any academic level thinking in his spiel about the good part of being black, those being all superficial qualities that are unimportant.

Stop slapping, telling other blacks what to do, controlling, cursing and using physical abuse over bad jokes or not respecting the law. Treating blacks who sound and act white with disrespect. From experiences.

Is that applicable to Blk people being respected by society too if So i guess I musta missed that memo. You know the thing about racism is that it's an instinctive and innate thing. When people are being discriminated against even if it's not overt they will know it and feel it. A baby can tell if it's loved and welcomed. As a Continental African I am well aware that this world we live in doesn't love us Blk people. This is a reality. How people deal with that status quo is gonna vary and depnd from person to person but what's not gonna change is that - that's the status quo, everything else is just pretence. So no one wants to address the real issue so then nothing is gonna change and we shouldn't be surprised by this.✌️🙏👋
