Two questions!! One, I am admitted as a theatre major but have done video editing for several years ad a hobby. Is there a minor that you'd recommend taking? Two, how would you place Chapman students on a scale of open-minded/welcoming of diverse people and ideas/collaborative to closed/cliquish/competitive?

Chapman students are super welcoming and open minded. Even in the Pre med majors, they are not competitive or cutthroat. I would recommend looking at Chapman’s course catalog under Dodge college to see if they have a minor for you, but keep in mind you will need to apply to the dodge college (submit a portfolio I think) in order to declare a minor like that

@@BlackCat-db3ti thanks! I did look at the minor list, but none of them sounded specifically like video production. Do you know if there are any that teach this side of film or is it only the BFA in Film Production?

Veeeerrry resourceful and Chapman has a lot of opportunities for research and connections. I’m in that college and it’s challenging and rewarding. The faculty is super awesome as well

My son ended up deciding not to go to Chapman as we cannot afford it despite the fact that he got a Dean Scholarship and a second scholarship totaling 120K for the 4 years. In the meantime, his classmate from primary school could afford to go to Chapman because her parents have low income...

It’s super easy. Just fill out a form and send a few emails to get it signed

do most people stay on campus? if not, is it easy to get around without a car?

all freshmen (unless they commute from home) live on campus! I'm pretty sure this next year they will require sophomores live in campus housing now as well. On campus housing includes the dorms and the davis and harris apartments and chapman off campus housing is either panther village or chapman grand apartments! Most people have friends that have a car and chapman also provides a shuttle to and from the off campus housing!
