I wish I was an extrovert. It's kinda awkward being an introvert. So quiet all the time and it just feels lonely sometimes. I mean, it is nice to be alone most of the time but sometimes, when I turn around and see how the other kids are having so much fun, I couldn't help but feel lonely. Of course, that only happens after I complete my tasks. I do find a way to distract myself though. Like, writing a Nov or whatever and scribbling on a piece of paper. They must be having so much fun talking to each other. How do I talk to people? How do I start a conversation? How do I make friends? Am I being annoying? Am I wasting their time? Do I bore them? Unbelievably true, I remember being in the worst possible place I could even concieve when I joined the uni - I literally see these people for the first time, I had never formed a relationship with someone who is not my mom or a classmate in my entire life, and the process of forming them took literally years and I am standing there, thinking to myself "What the f am I supposed to do?". So, naturally, I just kept extremely quiet at all times, never speak a word if not spoken to. And there was a dude in my class, who was literally the dude from the vid, but w/o most of the shortcomings of the extrovert, in other words - he wasn't as annoying and he wasn't placing others in the uncomfortable situations most of the time. He took the initiative to talk to me, he chose to start a healthy relationship with me instead of just ignoring my existence like most sensible people would. It felt like I had found a beacon of hope, like he was placing a path through the unknown, and I have the opportunity to thread that path right behind him. It really looked like the big brother - small brother kind of relationship, because he would always look after me if he could so, for no apparent materialistic or other reason. I've picked a tremendous amount of stuff from him, from just the student tricks to a development of social skills - if, before, I would never participate in any conversation between my peers in class, now I would take an active part in it, even providing something to the conversation itself. And that is just one of the many things that I had the opportunity to learn to, I even sometimes feel like I am getting transformed into the extrovert myself and doing the same thing to other, more introverted than me, people.

I know that a lot of people have seen me as someone to confide in and it makes me really happy. Being able to naturally interact and respond to what they're saying makes people feel more comfortable and open and I'm glad I can do that for them. I know there's a reason that extroverts get stereotyped as self-involved, but just as not all introverts are shy, we aren't all assholes haha. My daddy is Transylvanian (we Romanians just call it "ardelean") but they don't really have any blood rituals. There is, however, a custom to make a double distilled, 70% alcohol by volume drink in your own home (the law prohibits a commercial one higher than 40-45%), and drink dangerously freely. As an extroverted person, my friends describe me as a loud, cheerful, and friendly person because if (for example) I'm in a pool party and my parents are chilling in a bench and I'm alone, my first instinct is to find someone who is also alone and come, say hi and talk and chat about our lives and after 6 minutes I have a friend,☺️.
