One of the first things I learned to HATE about my Terminator is the HUGE turning radius. I've also got a 2000 GT and it has a smaller one. Even my wife's 2013 Tahoe has a tighter turning radius, even tighter than my GT.

I've had to make some 3 point turns in a very rapid fashion. I'm thinking it has something to do with the 275's in the front. I put 275's on my GT and they would rub on tight turns and I don't suppose the Ford engineers would design that from the factory.

You don't have a problem with your seat belts retracting back? Or how about your driver side rear view mirror shacking? Both are problems on my cobra. I can fix the mirror but the seat belt might be a little more tricky

I agree. This might seem pretty but the exhaust tips always stick out to far. It's almost like you'd have to trim two inches off. Not flush but not as to stick out so far.

You didn't list the shifter location! Shifter location really could of been designed better, like about 6 inches back. Agree with the brakes... I went with Baer 6pistons just a few months ago, and they are night and day better.

I've owned two 04 Terminators and I share your dislikes. I also didn't like the squeaks and things I use to get when every I would go over bumps and stuff. Interior to me was cheaply made as well although I liked the seats and suede inserts. Nice vid bro. I loved it though even with those dislikes.

I agree on the brakes. And those were good brakes at the time haha. Luckily you can get some great brake upgrades on the bottom of the typical cost of big brake kits.

586whp here on my 03. My Brakes are fine. SVT did a nice job. Agreed on the IRS comments. Interior is cheap, but early 2000s mustangs were that way. My center console has never been an issue, but the power outlet inside the console is a bit odd. Nice ride though. Oh, I would recommend a shortie antenna for your next appearance mod. I love my Terminator and would not trade it for a new Shelby.

So you think if I replaced the clutch with a lighter after market clutch it would be much better for daily driving ? Thats the thing that turns me off to getting one because it would be my daily driver also I’d be learning stick shift on this car

Try some hawk pads, stainless steel brake lines, and better dot 5.1 brake fluid for the sloppy breaking, you already mentioned doing the polyurethane bushings on the irs, and there's a European company that makes leather inserts for most of the interior that could improve your center console and your door inserts. Also really consider a shorty antenna

my 15 gt pp has the gt500 brembo 6 piston set up. it stops very very quick. but i usually just down shift all the way to 20mph before i tap the brake

I've used armaflex between those cheap plastic pieces and their mating surfaces and it works great. I had terrible rattling from the ac/radio bezel and the armaflex made it non-existent.

KyleSVT that's amazing because the paint looks like new. Lifting the car like you did is risking damage because there's no real good place to jack it up. Also why did you buy Bilstein HDs and not the Bilstein sports they suppose to be better for lowered cars with stiffer springs. I have the same car.

Ammo products really work well lol. No risk at all with the lift they have and the actual parts that contact the pinch weld. Bilstein HD are what FTBR recommended so I trust their expertise over the forums

I had a Terminator, but I got rid of it because I didn't like the way the Tremec shifted. I missed second gear as often as I hit it. In 2011, I bought a 2012 GT500, and I like almost everything about it better . . . except I really miss the IRS. Even though, yeah, wheel hop.

all over the place. depends on miles,mods,and conditions. Buddy just bought one with 100k miles for $12,900. Another is selling his with 50k miles for $18k. Some ask around $25k for ultra low mikes and some people who I dont think are serious on selling are asking $30k+ lol

+CR Kennedy Thats definitely gonna be harder to find one like that lol But I would check svtperfoemamce.com and look in the terminators for sale section and then look at the previous posts the owner has made/any videos of the car on yotube or instagram and usually you can tell from those if they are being abused or not

My dad had an 03 Terminator and it was the fastest car I will ever be in. *Before* he upgraded it to a 2.6L Kenne Bell, full bolt-ons would crush any competition. We destroyed C6 ZO6s. After the swap it was too fast for Street driving. That's why my dad sold it for a new 5.0. Long live the Terminator.

The brakes are not adequate for how I want the car to perform. I drove a car with GT350R brakes and I am going to upgrade to at least a 4 piston setup vs the stock 2. If you don't think wheel hop is a problem with the cobras I don't know what to tell you. Also no idea what to tell you about the heavy clutch either
