Are you stupid? While it does cause your body to begin the process of digestion, in no way does it raise your body temperature. In fact, when your body is cold, it actually halts bodily processes because it is a waste of energy that could be used to keep you warm. If your body could compensate it would do so regardless of whether you eat or not. You basically said that no matter where you are in the world, from Antarctica to the crater of an active volcano, your body temperature will not change because your body will compensate for it. Next time you decide to comment on something, just remember this one thing. To give your opinion or try to teach someone, you must at least know the bare minimum required. Ergo, discussing how cold food affects your body, you must at least have the barest scraping of knowledge on the human body. Even children know cold temperatures are bad for your health. This doesn't discount what GradeAUnderA said though, as if you are dressed warmly or inside on a cold day, then no harm can come from it.

That reminds me of a time when I was about that age. The boys (including me) used to mess about and take longer than strictly necessary to dry and dress, because we were about 7, and people of that age aren't reknowned for their sense of urgency. So the FEMALE teacher often used to stroll into the boys changing room to speed us up (verbally speed us up I mean, even she, a bizarre illogical old-school teacher, wasn't actually physically drying our weiners to speed us up). I should explain that the swimming pool we used was on the site of the local secondary school, but was a local leisure centre in its own right, and was used by other groups than just the primary and secondary school children of that catchment area. Ahead of me yet? On this one particular occasion there was a small group of older men who had clearly booked the next swim session after the one we had done our school swimming lesson in (as we had evidenced by the fact they began to turn up at the time we were getting out of the pool and heading for the changing rooms), and eventually at the same time our teacher happens to decide we boys need hurrying up in getting dressed, these older men are in the process of undressing ready for their session. Our teacher decides to stroll in, as per usual, and at least one or two of the older guys have undressed and are stood stark naked when she walks in. She continues to address us boys, and tell us to hurry up, before she eventually leaves the male changing room which clearly has naked adult males in. The men then start talking to us boys, pretending they know the teacher from somewhere, and could we remind them of her name as they'd like to get back in touch with her, which by the way we totally fall for, because we were about 7 and naive as duck. Anyway in hindsight it's pretty obvious they wanted her name so they could complain about her coming in the mens changing room and seeing their old man willies. Having said that something is bugging me now. That was maybe 30 years (nearly) ago, and only now, when I type this, am I suddenly wondering why they were walking around stark naked BEFORE they had done any swimming. I mean I get that they had to remove their clothes before they put there chosen swimming attire on, but in a room full of little boys they felt it appropriate to walk around bollock naked until our female teacher happened to inappropriately wander into the room. In fact maybe she got wind of what was happening and that was why she came in in the first place? Perhaps I've the situation upside down and back to front all this time. It's funny how I've become a fat, middle aged bastard, whose hair is refusing to stay attached to his head, and suddenly everything I held as fact for 30+ years suddenly unexpectedly reveals a new angle or nuance on reinspection, or else turns out to be completely wide of the mark.
