Most annoying thing my mother would do when I was very going: When I was 6-8, my mother used to berate me for not knowing how to wash dishes, do laundry, or mow the grass. So I would say, "Okay teach me." Which would often be ignored. So, when the grass got too high, I asked her to let me cut it; "No, no. You'll mess it up. (You could apply this to all three of these things)" and a week later she said "You never wanna cut grass! You're so lazy! Other kids can do it!" Stuff like that is what some parents do that really pisses me off.

What do you do?!?! Nothing!!!!" Me: "yeah, well in the 80's you had nothing to do, but I have this thing called a computer now..." "WHAAAT!!! YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT YOU ARE LAZY BECAUSE YOU HAVE A COMPUTER!!! Me: "uhh, no, I never-" "YOU KNOW WHAT? YOU ARE GROUNDED FROM THE COMPUTER FOR 2 WEEKS!!" Me: "well, what did I do wrong? Talk to you?" "DONT TALK BACK!!! ITS 3 WEEKS NOW!!!" Me: "I have friends, so I don't need a computer, I can just go to a friends house." Having a computer is no excuse to not help out around the house. They have lives too. You think they want to do chores around the house after working all day at a shitty job? Depends on the situation. Here's an example. An old lady walks into a bus. All the seats are taken and you are in one of the seats. If the old lady says to you "Would you be so kind as to offer me a seat?" This makes this statement true. BUT, let's have a look at this next example, with the same scenario. If they say instead "Hey! Get outta that seat you bitch!" then throws her cane at you, that makes this statement false. What Arjay says is true. You should respect your relatives (unless they hate your guts, or you have been abused). Overall, age doesn't really mean anything. The only thing age does is show your experience in society.

My parents pawned my ps4 and my tv. The two main things in my room that I bought with MY money that is somehow always theirs. I work for my money and I'm 15 and my mom, who doesn't have a job because she doesn't feel the need to get one which we do because we always have missed bills and loans, keeps stealing my money. Anyway, she pawned my stuff and said she PROMISED that she'd get it back the next week and.... I should have known.... N-O-P-E!! Then she gets mad when I ask her why and when we will get it back because she is never with her word. In 2.5 weeks it'll be up for sell. Which means in 2.5 weeks it'll be pawned for 3 MONTHS. That's a lot more than one week don't you think?! Man, I wish I could trust my mom but it just doesn't seem possible. Like at all. If it goes for sell... Omfg mom!! And I can't get it back without the receipt and my moms ID. Ugh... And she wonders why she can't earn my trust

So my mom favors me over my sister because my dad favors my sister and both are just are just so fucking obvious. Dad would go into her room, see that's it's a mess, and tell her "Hey, clean this up when you can, ok?" Then he'd come in my room and be like "Why the fuck isn't your room clean? I told you last week to clean it. You know, before I left for a week. Giving you time to clean it." Now this was just an example, but there would be times that I'd actually clean my room and it would just get dirty again before he came back from being gone for a week. Having two dogs in your room does that. Even if they don't he has NO room to talk. Their room gets dirty in pretty much the same amount of time mine does. They just either clean it or get one of us to clean it for them. Don't get the wrong idea, I'm definitely not saying I have the worst parents. I'm just saying I've seen some really stupid and hypocritical shit.

This happened to me a few times. I cracked the code though. Essentially, the trick is to take the silent option. When they then ask why you refuse to respond; “Because whatever I say, and whatever I do, won’t change the situation, so I rather not try to fix a one sided situation. Unless you feel like listening, you won’t hear from me.” I said that and I’ve slightly gotten lesser and lesser of these checkmate scenarios. My mom’s face expression was unforgettable. The slow transition from an angry face to an understanding expression. She didn’t back down, but I also didn’t get punished, only chewed out, which only happens when I’m not exactly guilty.

You know what the dumbest thing parents do is? So, they let you go to a rated R movie with them, it has sexual and violent images. But when your parents see you listening to a song or watching a video that has a few cuss words they flip their shit and punish you. WTF?!?!?! HOW IS LISTENING TO ONE SONG WITH A FEW CUSS WORDS IN IT OR WATCHING JACKSEPTICEYE WORSE THEN WATCHING DEAD POOL?!?!?!

You know that time in your life when you say “But I already know most of the swear words, but I still never said any swear words so, what makes you think that I would say a swear word if I heard a new one now, huh?” then your parents say : “DON’T TALK BACK AT ME.” then you think to yourself : “What, that made sense! Don’t use that “OH YOU TALK BACK” at me.” I think that just exists for parents to always win an argument.
