Ive lost 123.6lbs/8.8st/ 56.3kg since my pregnancy. I still have 2.5kg to go. You'll get there, just br consistent❤

Also whoever is telling you that it may be 1lb of muscle gained is absolutely wrong....... There is no way you can gain 1 lb of muscle in weight in 1 week without seriously lifting weights and upping protein intake and well as carb reduction.

Hi just take care think your eating maybe to much Carbs and in the Cathedral cottage pie is 580cals without root mash would have been better putting green vegetables with it I was 21 stone lost 11 stone in weight with NHS Medical diet also if you can reduce your portions but well done its just understanding why you gain when sticking to the calories it will be carbs and portion size and also been mindful what fruit I ate sticking to berries rather than apples pear banana that have high sugar..

The reason you aren't losing weight is that you are eating too much and not moving enough. You need to push through the hunger, not feed it!

Yes and no. Simplest way to loose weight is stop eating completely. Voluntary water fast for few weeks or even months. So yes. Calorie deficit can be problem, hunger, yoyo effect etc. Better way in this case is to stop counting calories, eat to full. Majority of people will then start to loose weight on 3000 calories a day, some even on 6000, not 1200. But she must start to eat things not giving her oportunity to store fat. Sacharides, fructose, starch or often hidden carbs in processed foods (all rises blood glucose and insulin) will immediatelly stop weight loss. How to loose weight (fat) ? By eating fat.

@@robingagan6288 Your body cant store fat, have no energy source to do it. Slows down metabolism, ok, but burns ketones from storage fat as energy source. Goes into metabolic ketosis, this state you live everytime you got to sleep at night for long enough time. As you wake up, you are in metabolic ketosis, worst idea for weight loss is to start you day eting sweet breakfast.

​@@robingagan6288really? I've done a 43 day fast. 6wks 1 day and I've kept it off plus I'm still losing weight by doing intermittent fasting and eating healthy with light exercise like walking.

Do you not use air fryer liners? Much easier! Got mine from temu. Do more walking , you'll lose weight easier. The cottage pie already has mash, you don't need the extra mash! Make a little side salad. Maybe see a nutrisionist.

That's true what George said eat protein eggs chicken beef etc and watch out for carbs and just keep doing your walking and you will lose the weight

To loose weight you must eat foods not allowing you to store energy as fat, not triggering your insulin. Calm your insulin levels down, hold your blood glucose on normal level. Or you can eat your bad diet and start hard excercising in gym to over exercise your bad diet. Which way you want to choose ? Long walks can be fine for weight loss but only eating right foods.

@@AnnmarieKelley Weight loss doesnt equal good blood glucose. Weight gain is caused by sacharides / fructose or starch in your meal rising blood glucose telling your body to store excess energy from this meal as fat. Insulin makes you not able to loose fat. Fasting glucose will be low everytime when you go to your doctor in fasted state not having diabetes so far. Will not be low with diabetes. Insulin resistance and diabetes are two separate things.

@@AnnmarieKelley Eat fat to loose fat. Simple as that. Fat will make you loose weight, not starch, fructose or sacharides of any kind. See "Butter Makes Your Pants Fall Off" video on youtube. Search for carnivore diet videos, read comments under these videos. Eat as much calories you want, dont count calories, its nonsense. Eat to your full satiety. But get rid of starch, fructose, sacharides, even no fiber may help to loose weight, fiber is polysacharide too, all this rises blood glucose, insulin. Insulin blocks enzyme releasing triglycerides from fat cells back to blood, to be used as energy source and you cant loose weight. Dont eat "products", eat real natural foods, because you dont know possible hidden sugars in these products. Butter, bacon, eggs, red fatty meat (beef is the best, minced will be enough), fat fish, chicken (have not enough fat), beef tallow, lard... You must eat fat in every meal with protein to protect eaten protein being used as energy source, this protein can rise blood glucose, insulin again and you are storing fat and add weight. You can loose weight eating 3000 - 6000 calories a day, but you must eat pure animal protein and fat. Drink only water, as mineral supplement you can use Celtic Sea Salt (82 minerals). If you need eat something sweet, eat it only sometimes, eat real fruit. Do some walking for better results. Try to switch your metabolism into ketosis, learn your body burn fat again as energy source. After this you will loose weight with ease.

Do you have a community centre pool around your place? My Mom lost 150lbs from swimming and light walking, combined with high protein diet as well. I feel you with the constant cleaning on the air fryer as well, rly sucks having to clean them everyday lolll! Wish you the best! ! 1-5 lbs is just a fluctuation

Sorry but if you truly are under your calories you would not have gained 1lb. Weight loss at the start is quite fast. But saying that.....the 1lb could easily be just a big pee or No 2 and it depends which time of day you weigh in, you'd naturally be heavier at the end of the day than you would when you wake up in the morning. You gained coz your portions were not small enough. Own up to it! Try fasting, that's what I'm doing, but you have to be strict on yourself.

Unfortunately muscle doesn’t way more than fat, a pound is a pound whatever it is, but if you are eating too low an amount of calories your body holds on to fat etc to keep you going so it might be that 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
