I have long wavy hair as well and I can tell you even I use just 1-2 things to style my hair. I love using less product to style because long hair gets weighed down easily. My go to is either just a curl cream or a combo of a leave in and gel. But most says it’s just a curl cream or just a leave-in conditioner.

Yessss! It took me a bit to figure that out lol but now we’re on the same page🫶🙌🏽

Use a professional shampoo and conditioner, then apply a good leave-in conditioner, and to finish off apply a tiny amount of Olaplex No 7 bonding oil on the ends of the hair. This is all you need for glorious hair.

Not using a leave in conditioner and/or cream when you've deep conditioned is something I never thought about. That could explain why my hair looks limp on those days. I may be over moisturizing. Thanks for that advice!

Right, idk why it took me so long to figure that out lol but I’m glad you found it helpful babes ❤️❤️

Thank you for the tips 🙂 😊! Unfortunately because of my oily scalp I can't use oil treatments and my low porosity hair gets too soft when I do hair masks! It seems to be working for your hair ➿➿➿ !

It's true that hair, especially wavy hair, don't need much styling products. I only use a gel and then dry my hair. I noticed that American girls use way too much stuff on their hair, but there's no need to do that and I wonder how they don't get greasy hair after one or two days

Can't use bonnets-- between the headaches and the slipping, both my fatigue and my hair don't benefit from one

I have a one question, for many people i have noticed that they have curls from the roots itself, i have curls mostly on the lengths not from the roots. I have not followed any curly girl method,only scrunching hair after shower. Is there any way to get curls from the roots of the hair
@linlin4039 Жыл бұрын
I have a question, I have a tighter curl pattern and I have low density hair and I started dry finger detangling and it helps me retain so much length i saw major breakage when wet detangling .It is waist length but shrinks to my shoulders I'm trying to grow my hair to my butt this year.i do band my hair over night in two sections to stretch my hair and throughout the week I use claw clips or braids I dont want too much tension and don't like buns. I am going to start braiding my hair every night to see if that works cause I tend to just use claw clips. I wash my hair when needed so usually every 3 to 4 days but if I can go longer meaning my scalp isn't itchy I will go longer. Do I need any adjustments to my routine?
@NemesisMarie Жыл бұрын
Hi babes, it sounds like you’re doing everything right🫶 also YES! Dry Detangling is so much healthier than wet detangling👏🏽👏🏽 if you want to add something extra, I’d say scalp massages (with or without oil, up to you), since it relieves tension & promotes hair growth. Also remember genetics play a huge role on that, so manage your expectations, but I believe you’re doing all that can be done ☺️❤️🫶
