I love this channel and really love your videos. You’re very inspirational. I am a Registered nurse, am 79 years old come March 6, still work as an infusion nurse for a pharmacy part time. I’ve got some arthritis pain but I know I have to keep moving mentally and physically. I wish I could crochet as beautifully as you do. Watching you work on that beautiful throw/afghan would make a great video. I so appreciate your comment about forgiving ourselves and not dwelling on the past. So thank you so much and I’ll be watching.

I plan to work on improving my health, I want to scrapbook more. I want to take a class at the library to learn to take better pictures with my phone and learn how to use my phone better. I am 75, but I think I need to learn something new to keep my mind active. I also want to start embroidering again. Send at least one card a week. I make the cards out of left over scrapbook supplies. My word of the year is grace. I need to give other people and myself more grace.

Granny, I’m your same age and everything you said today hits home with me. I just had triple bypass surgery before Christmas. Was a big surprise bec I walk every day and keep my weight down. I left it in God’s hands and I’m happy to say I’m recovering quite well with help of my family. We never know so yes, important to keep in touch. While recovering, I’m decluttering where I can too. Don’t stress out. Relax when you want to. Your crochet is beautiful. I forgot I have one started. Thanks for the reminder. Stay well and good luck with your decision about surgery. Not easy. ❤🙏🏻

I’m with you on improving my health. Physical and spiritual. I had a moment today where my mouth was going faster than my brain. And I regret it tremendously. I ask for Gods guidance, I read His word, yet I still find myself saying or doing something just plain stupid. I really relate to Amazing Grace, because I feel like a wretched so often. And I just don’t know how He can keep forgiving me. I wouldn’t forgive me. That’s a very hard thing for me to do. I really enjoy your talks. It helps to know I’m not alone. Other people go through a lot of the same things. I want to minimalize this year. I crochet all the time. I love it.

I enjoyed this video very much, you have some of the same goals to try and do this year on the weight and on spending more time with God. On Sundays, I watch our Church Service Streamlined, if I wasn't using a walker at this time, and had brake pads fixed on my used car I recently bought maybe about a year ago. I hope to go to in service this summer for a while, hopefully/Lord willing. I need to try and do more crocheting also. Prayers that you meet your goals, Best of luck.

We have seven weeks until spring....we have a 6 room house including bathroom. We are going to start Spring Cleaning one room a week...and the seventh week clean and declutter the basement. We are planning on a yard sale to replace some of the money we had to spend on our old truck this past winter. We had a new timing chain and transmission. When it rains... It pours! We enjoy what we call day camping....but we sleep at home. Love your visits....we are going to have to lose weight also for our health. We are trying to stay positive and really declutter....mostly all those kitchen gadgets that I thought I just couldn't live without....over the past 52 years! Give me a skillet, a paring knife and I'll cook like my g'ma! We enjoy your posts and ideas so much! Wish we're neighbors and we could day camp together....

I love Steves recipes and books, which I have. Until I started doing sourdough I always used his recipes. I like that the slower rise method allowed me to mix my dough before bed and let it rise overnight. They always came out great. His methods are quick and easy. I wasted about the first four years of my recovery trying to pin down when everything went south. Have you never sat and watched a snow storm. It might begin as a flurry then get continually stronger. You could never determine which snow flake or band or band of them changed then flurry into a blizzard. All you can do is put on your boots, grab your shovel and get busy! Cyber hugs for you and, please a bug old hug for Mr. Gizmo🙏💕❤😸

Food I am able to bring in the house and the refrigerator or freezer to keep it in. The ability to move around in my wheelchair since I’m a paraplegic. We started going through the house last January 2023 so we can be realistic as to what we keep. I end up in the ER in early February and in and out of hospital all year with multiple surgeries trying to save a kidney but got a pressure sore in my foot which got infected in the hospital so have been in wound care since September. Feb 3 this year they will be removing the kidney. The rest of this year I hope to be healed of all and getting back to clearing out all the unnecessary clutter as you have done!

Fans of Granny, please consider buying a sticker or two to help her with Gizmo's vet bills and van expenses. You don't even have to put it on a vehicle. I used a magnet to stick it to my refrigerator, you can pin it on a bulletin board, put it on a file cabinet, tape it to anything. Her grandson designed two for her, and they are lovely. I think of her every time I see mine.

The way I see it, life is a school - it's expected that we make mistakes, and as a friend of mine said once, "A mistake can be the best news." She designed beautiful collage clothing, and had found that when she made a sewing mistake, it was the impetus to make something even more beautiful out of the mistake. I believe that is the way God works, he turns things to an even greater good. A mistake is a learning opportunity - it's not a waste if we learn something. ♥❤
