Things I wish I knew BEFORE starting a Candle Business

For one thing. I bought 15 10 Oz jars and different fragrances for each jar. One of the jars for me to do my testing... The other ones are for me to sell.. I prefer to have different fragrances and each candle. It was easier for people who were more interested. I had different fragrances on my table.. for people to choose from.

I’ve been going back and forth weather to add a small size or melts. I’m launching in a few weeks 5 signature scents but all 12oz.

I haven’t added melts to my business yet, but my personal opinion is to maybe start with adding small size. That way anyone that wants to try your candles, but don’t want to get a 12oz they can have another option and if they like it (which I’m sure they will 😊) next time they make a purchase they’ll buy the 12oz 😃 just my thoughts 💭
