I remember going to kill KQ with a few friends on a regular basis for a while back in 2005 at first we just went decked out in full Verac's for the whole fight... but after a while we found we could stay longer if we took a Guthan's switch and used Guthan's for the first phase swapping to Verac's for phase 2. We never used methods like stepping under her to heal back then either, but we'd get 3-4 kills per trip with just Verac's and 5-6 with Guthan's and when she'd drop Sharks we'd actually be able to stick around for another few kills. Our longest trip that I remember we got up to around 12 kills before we ran out of supplies and she stopped dropping sharks... We also would use Guthan's to heal up on workers between fights and during phase change to reduce our resource usage. As for why we didn't just take a Range swap if we're taking a full gear swap anyways... well Kharil's with MSB was basically the best ranged option back then and it was legitimately faster to use Verac's with decent melee stats.

Ha ha do you ever wonder where the times gone. Things seemed so much harder years ago, worse gear and still kick ass bosses 😂. I remember 3 of us in veracs trying to kill her. Do you remember how much the chain body was back then?

Every day... every day... so much time gone by in the blink of an eye. D-Chain back then... It was somewhere around 15-20mill... though some people were selling it as high as 50mill... sadly out of all of our runs as a group we never once got one... but one of my friends who would do bossing solo a lot got 3 of them back then...
