Stretching everywhere! yes! I'm 28. quit dancing at 19 because of health issues. My husband and I met when I was 14, been dating since, been married for 4 years. in 14 years, he still has not gotten used to me stretching everywhere, and I still do it 9 years after "retiring." He walks into the room and I'm sitting on the couch scrolling Instagram wrapped up in a stretch pretzel or waving a leg in the air. Every time he looks at me like I've lost my mind. 🤣 it's still so comfy

I loved this video, it is so relatable. Other weird things I can add but at traffic lights I always want to (but never have) perform a develope and push down into a split to press the button. Also battments/ developes devant to open doors (I’ve been caught doing that before) performing a grande jete or saut de chat in hallways. Performing full out variations in the kitchen and leaping through fields and then someone catching you so you have to awkwardly pretend your jogging I could honestly say more but this comment would be way too long.

OKay: everything made sense to me as "normal" (apparently I'm a crazy dancer - or was once long ago...), until I got to the "can't move after a full day of dance (fetal on on the floor with dread/depressed music - utterly brilliant!!!), and I legit laughed out loud for that whole thing!!! Thank you Kenzie!!!! I and my students LOVE you!!!

Honestly, I've been snapping for ages longer than I've been taking ballet/dance. It's from the jazz/poetry community because snapping is quieter than clapping. I kind of love doing it secretly because it's like a more passive form of clapping and I can do it with one hand. The clip of you stretching in the bathroom was so funny.. and also just zoom in on the jet glue.. and also the not being able to move. Why was this so funny?

i loved this video! so relatable!! one that really got me was stretching literally everywhere; i do this soooo much. Actually this morning at school a small club i'm in was meeting in the gym and we were all sitting on the floor. now, my hips are always tight and i'm always trying to get a deeper stretch, so i just inadvertently slid into a full split, totally cold, and the girl next to me just looked at me like i was insane...

jet glue is like super glue but stronger. we put it on the soft parts of our pointe shoes, like the shank or in the box, when they start to die, or stop supporting our foot, to keep the shoe going just a little bit longer. personally, jet glue doesn't do that much for me but i use it on every pair anyways haha
