So often I find so much humor in still photography of birds. My family all have bird identification apps and audobon books for ornithology. Ornithology is not creepy at all but a long storied pasttime.

I really like it when you speak Japanese because it simply expresses your feelings and emotions much more freely and naturally, because you don't have to think about what it means in english. while I'm happy if you speak english because I love how you make the effort, to actually learn and practice another language, I wouldn't mind if you only made videos in japanese. your videos are simply great! and I would keep watching them, no matter what language!💖

It is not easy to take good pictures of wildlife, especially birds! It’s fascinating how different cultures and countries feel about certain animals (which animals are loved and which ones are frowned upon). Keep shooting pictures of what you love!! 🐦‍⬛🦆🦢🦅🦉🩵🩵🩵🩵

Birds are greatly admired here in New Zealand. There are many beautiful bird species, some very rare and endangered. Photography of birds would be a part of many nature photographer’s portfolios. I thought it was funny when you said some people think bird legs and wings are creepy. I think they are amazing.

I went to India recently and saw so many beautiful animals in the Rathambore park. I was so happy to see tigers but even happier to see a Sloth Bear as they’re usually hibernating in January when I went. It’s funny you posted the pigeons as I live in the Netherlands and I often have them on my balcony.

I'm happy that work is going well for you and you are still striivng to reach your goals. I only just discovered you have a food focussed Instagram, so I've followed that account, too. I still hope to see you get the KZbin silver button by the end of 2024. As to birds, I don't find them creepy. That's an odd perspective but perhaps it's cultural? I have a lot of pictures of crows and ravens from around the UK; however, I am allergic to feathers so I have to keep my distance.

Good to hear you speaking about your personal interest that are very close to what you do professionally. I go back to the time when I used Mamiya TLRs and 35mm SLR cameras mainly with transparency film. The larger format allowed me to have produced promotional pictures as big as 508 x 762 mm. Rather strange that some of your friends don't like birds when there are so many that love to see them. Amazing creatures! Keep making your memories, Yuu and share them here on YT and on Instagram. Best wishes for exceeding your targets before your birthday in April. D

Yuu, you are a beautiful soul ❤ and a very talented photographer. People like you make us foreigners be so in love with Japan and Japanese culture. I study Japanese since September, and it's my moment of relaxation every time I study, I feel at peace. I also struggle with loneliness and depression sometimes but it's videos like this that make me not lose hope. Keep going, you are doing amazing! P.S. I love birds as well, and I hope to see lots of them when I come to Japan next year. Love from Romania ❤

Lovely video and great to hear not only an update what you’ve done or plan to do but to hear you speak in your own language, thank you for providing the English Subtitles at the same time. There will always be someone not liking an aspect of your work in this case birds. But you’re right to photograph what you wish, I think if you capture a bird in the right place and time they are beautiful. So please do what you’ve doing go with your heart and photograph what you wish.

Hi thank you for the wide range of social media your wonderful work is shown, it provides such opportunity to share the assignment with you. Many people will not appreciate just how exacting wildlife photography is to capture that frame that tells the story especially within a fixed assignment time slot. Large lenses also require such skilled operation almost like a marksman to render a perfect shot before the editing process not to mention your wonderful lighting techniques. I am in awe of your work and the commentary you provide. Stay safe and healthy peace Yuu✌🇬🇧

Birds do show their dinosaur background don’t they? Especially ones like the California Condor. Birds are great to use to work on your skills of catching well framed, composed and exposed photos on the fly - they are skittish and you can’t ask them to pose. As someone who stared out on 35mm film, with a family darkroom, the capability of the current gen digital phones are amazing. The only things I find frustrating with them is dealing with the color red in nature and the need for a long-distance zoom. (There are other issues, but those are my two pet-peeves). Love the Mt Fuji through the city scape! A strong image that shows how the mountain looms over everyday life.

I really enjoy ' Yuu' speaking Japanese-and even add Spanish in the text👍 - just have faith - I think you will be a real travelling polyglot. It would be a pleasure to support this with my possibilities and meet you personally some time (hopefully) soon😊 concerning birds, I love them too. During holiday in switzerland in the high mountains, a big eagle landed next to me on a stone. It had my seat hight, which was very impressive. Oh what would Japaneses girls do in such a situation? I enjoyed it, as it is an untamed wild animal showing trust in me - took it as a compliment from nature
