Loved this video! The best on Antigua; very informative. David & Robb are amazing! Very likable, organized & both speak clearly. Felt like I was tagging along with them. Thanks! PS: Thanks to David’s heads up on the cobblestones, left stilettos at home. lol!

Hi. How do you get a shuttle back to town?
@tendegreeswarmer9 ай бұрын
Since there were three of us, we just ordered an Uber to get from Antigua back to Guatemala City which was super easy and cost about $45. But I'm sure any of the travel agents in town could help you arrange a shared shuttle, which would no doubt be more affordable. Years ago we took the chicken bus, which was a bit more of an adventure and certainly a lot cheaper, but then you'd still have to get an Uber from the bus station to wherever you actually wanted to go in Guatemala City. It just depends on how much time you have and what your budget is.

I got here a couple of weeks ago and they have a booth in the airport where this guy directs visitors to shared vehicles for 150Q. You share a taxi or mini van. Two or three people. Screw Uber.

i kinda hate the fact that I'm from Guatemala, and I don't know Antigua as much as you do... mainly because of the traffic 😅 makes it annoying to go there if you won't stay in the city
@tendegreeswarmer4 ай бұрын
haha - yeah traffic can be a real bummer. But don't feel bad, I was teasing an Australian once who had never been to the Outback, and she came right back at me with "Have you been to the Grand Canyon?". We don't tend to travel as much in our homes. (I have since been to the Grand Canyon several times haha)
