In this video we will spend the day in Ella, Sri Lanka and go over things to do in Ella, Sri Lanka! Today we will go to the Organic Tea Plantation, go to the Dowa Rock Temple, and then go to one of our new FAVORITE restaurants here in Ella and eat way too much rice and curry! At the Tea Plantation, you will learn how they grow green tea, black tea, and white tea at home using an organic system and then wind down with a peaceful afternoon at one of the most ancient Buddhist Temples here in Sri Lanka!

Cool video. That Threewheel charge was too high😔. That temple visit is very interesting. Didn't know Ella had ancient temples. Because most of ancient templates and ruins are in Polonnaruwa and Anuradhapura.

I don’t think this is a Tea factory. This guy is doing his personal tea tours from his house. Try and visit a proper Tea factory and most places are free.

We chose this one because they use an organic system and we learned how to make it at home (versus at a factory). This way we know how to make our own if we ever choose to ❤️

just don't pay. The three wheeler drivers are blood suckers and if they do not agree with yours simply skip it and wait for the next one. if you say no then they will come down. this happens for locals as well.

Yeah sometimes it’s so outrageously overpriced it’s almost offensive! Like we got quoted 3,000 for a 15 min drive!!! Insane! And they wouldn’t come down! Ella is insane for high priced tuktuks!
