Planning to visit São Miguel Island in the Azores, Portugal? This video is our travel guide about best attractions on Sao Miguel Island. We stayed in Ponta Delgada and rented a car to travel around Sao Miguel. We visited Furnas thermal waters, hiked around Lagoa de Sete Cidades, hiked on the northern side and went diving to a shipwreck close to Ponta Delgada.

There are plenty of restaurants, both with seafood and meat options. In Ponte Delgada for meat we loved Restaurante Alcides and for general Portuguese food A Tasca! Outside of Ponta Delgada, we recommend Bar Caloura, that locals rsuggested to us. It has a great sea view and fresh food options. We went back twice in 4 days:)
