Hi, I'm from Chile and I really enjoy your cruise videos. I am going to take a cruise from Venice on Costa Deliziosa with my family on September 16th and I have some doubts. Are there any dress codes depending on the type of dinner or night on Costa cruises? And I understand that they no longer depart from Venice itself but from Marghera. Is it difficult to get there? Thanks!

Hello there thank you for your comment. There are no strict dress code on Costa. They don’t allow shorts and tank tops at dinner at the main restaurants other then that they are very relaxed. The new port of Venice is not too difficult to reach, there is a train that goes there

Hello, question for you, do the New York New York and My Way restaurants in the evening serve the same food? Does it matter which one we choose for the same time every night? If we bought the water package, does that mean we get bottled water for every meal? thanks! Your videos are very informative

Thank you for the feedback yes the restaurants offer the same menu each night and they are practically identical. Regarding the water package, you have to check in your MyCosta portal the detail of the package you bought, because there are a few different ones.

Hello Lina, with the all inclusive the beverages are included at restaurants. You can do excursions by yourself no problem as long as you are back on time

Just got off Costa Fascinosa a week ago. They have 115v plug. Food is bland. You have to ask for ketchup, butter, and Ice. Bread are hard kind. Breakfast sausage is awful. Like a pate in a casing. They used Yukon Gold potatoes for fries, chips and mashed. Cultural diversity is fun.

Do not take a Costa cruise if you are North American!! Just got off of Costa Toscana a month ago from a Mediterranean one week cruise. The Mediterranean and each port was amazing. But the everything about the ship was a nightmare, including the majority Italian and minority other European guests. Go see the Mediterranean but not on Costa, only on American focused lines. Europeans do not have or understand what customer service is. America is all about hard work and customer service. The food was exactly the same every day and mediocre. No staff brought you a drink, glass or water or anything in the buffets. The hours of the buffet were so short that people were pushing and shoving to get food and often you could not find a seat. In the buffet you could not get coffee or tea outside of breakfast hours. Coffee was terrible, unless you pay for the good stuff. The Europeans were rude and cut in line, pushed your glass away to get to water etc etc, never even an excuse me or sorry. Zero manners in allowing elderly or disabled first or off the elevators. If you were by the pool, there was a 45 min to an hour you had to wait in a lineup to get a drink!!! Oh almost forgot, the dinner buffet hours were 6:30 to 9pm. No food after that unless you order room service. And at 8:30 they were taking away the food, so if you got there 10min to 9:00 pm, nothing was left and they would get you nothing, not even a pice of lemon for your water, even though it was right in front of their face! The staff was overworked and inattentive. The toilet plugged up in our room they took 6 hrs to fix it! I never seen the person who cleans the cabin. Often having to find people to get new clean towels. The layout of the ship was horrible, could not find anything!! Trying to get a drink in the middle of the day, having to pass 3 bars bcs they were all closed!!! 30 min later I found a bar that was open. The shows were bad and the colosseum, basically theatre, was so poorly designed that outside of 10% of the audience, the others could not see anything. A couple of live bands were good. The organization of outside excursions were good. The swimming pools were too small and reeked of chlorine that I could not wash off for days. Could not use the hot tubs bcs dozens of children were sitting in each!!! Oh and let’s not forget the babies in their strollers at 1am at the nightclub!! I can go on and on with complaints, including you end up being charged for everything paying way more than budgeting. The worse cruise of my life, literally what nightmares are made off. I could not wait to go home!!

If you are English speaking, ESPECIALLY if you are from the US, DO NOT CRUISE Costa. Just don't. I wish I would have known these things before our trip. There is a lot wrong with Costa besides the language brrrier. Be warned.

Even if you’re not English speaking I would strongly suggest NEVER to cruise on Costa. We are French and have been on Costa Firenze last September and we will never ever step back onboard a Costa ship. Nothing to do with languages but they just don’t give a s__t about what passengers think. During our cruise all the shops were closed, the buffet was so crowded that it took an hour to get served. First and last time, we will stick to MSC

Hahahah so funny these people who work for Costa and simulate they are reviewing Costa when in fact they travel free on their cruises and do these videos.... Costa is a disaster, the organization is bad. But they won't say anything about it. So you watch the video and you end up believing that Costa is an amazing cruise.
