I was schedule to moved to Medellin in April but the pandemic changed everything. I am presently living in Thailand right now and waiting for Colombia to reopen it s borders to foreigners. I am looking for all the help/guidances I can get to relocate in Medellin,especially regarding the right neighborhood and the right appartment for me, but For now, I was impressed by the quality of the videopresentation on Medellin Colombia by Marcello Arrambide. I wish he could assist for my arrival in Medellin.

Good vid Marcello! What can you tell me about Bogota? I watch a lot of vids from the Lake Chapala area in central Mexico. A lot of American expats now. Prices are skyrocketing there. I am now seeing more vids of houses for sale in Bogota. None in English. Very cheap now with the inflation of the peso there. Are gringos coming down in droves now and buying up everything in sight? I would not want to live in an expat community since I was not born here in the u.s.

Yes they are but more so in Medellin than in Bogota. I personally love the weather in Bogota but feel it's a shet hole. Big city nothing works the way it should a bit unsafe, etc.

I was told that if you don't have the real passport on you the cops will give you a hard time and you said that you will tell us about the negative experience that you had. I am curious, but I never have any fear traveling all over Colombia Thanks Bert
