Hi Remya, I had spoken to 2 people who had taught in Maldives schools. Both of them had told me that student behaviour in Maldives school in general is bad. I was also told that students in their classroom jumped out of the window when the teacher was teaching (without any strong reason!!). Have you experienced anything like this or have you heard of any such behavioural issues from other teachers? Kindly advise. Thanks.

Yes... nurses in my island were always busy in hospital...they are mostly connected with hospital and it's surroundings... mingling with outside that is less...they get OT... because of OT they earn very fair salary...but increment is not there for expats,,,if you are in Male u can get more work n more experience but less savings...but in distant islands less hardwork much OT and more salary...in islands for emergency cases u may have to go Male with patients...in my island nurses were cool as no much workloads were there...from past one year newly recruited nurses have to clear some test of ministry of health Maldives...

@@marym2777 depends..many people were keeping their families there....but I was not comfortable to bring my family... The only problem was hospital case. If we get any hospital case which can't be cured in islands, we need to go Male or some other islands where hospital is much more developed...as islands have hospital with limited facilities like our primary healthcare centre...n traveling in sea with sick people also very difficult...people with family stick on there for long time...
