Like you we had a fantastic pilot and experience. Our pilot is returning so we will be crewing the same balloon, Joyful.

It wouldn’t be the same without you ☺️ Unfortunately we did it get the chance to sample local cuisine, BUT we are headed back this year! The few clips we shared in the video were Stan’s footage from the flight. I think we were just struggling with being in the moment and trying to get footage 😅 Let us know if you have any recommendations for where we should eat this year 😀

Great video. I was wondering how the balloon are navigated. Thanks for the explanation. Today’s video really showed how much the volunteers are needed: helping with the launch, landing, chase, packing and probably much more. I wonder if the Lake Havasu festival will be similar?

Hi Claudia! They absolutely rely heavily on volunteers for all aspects of the festival. We were fortunate we felt to be able to crew with Dale and Tina. We took Stan’s friends place who couldn’t make it. Now we are hooked! 😅 We are signed up already for this year too 👏 We will be airing the Havasu Balloon Festival in a few weeks 👏 Thanks for hanging out with us! ❤️

Hello Robert, we don’t have to worry about it. Our Influence doesn’t have a drop frame. However, it is all what people are talking about. Not only that, the more negative you can get the more clicks they get on their videos. There are way too many variables. Unfortunately most folks living full time in their RVs are way over weight. Then there are those who drop their RV on their truck and now have frame flex. We had a bunch of friends that had frame flex and Grand Design took care of them. Mostly the really big ones. I am really sad about these stories of Grand Design. We did not have a single issue with our first Grand Design. We traveled over 33,000 miles. I still say to this day, RV’s aren’t meant to live in full time. Hence the reason why they are called recreational vehicles. Any way, thank you for your concerns. Stan and Rhonda
