Thanks Efua for the insight I’m a 2024 GKS Scholar and would be coming around by August ending Pls do I need to apostille/consular confirm my academic and proof of citizenship documents again for visa renewal, or just photocopies of the initially submitted ones will suffice?

It’s by choice. I brought just copies of my consular confirmed documents. But you can redo them and bring them. You can confirm from the Korean embassy in your country as well if you should or shouldn’t

I’ve already reached out to my school and my school told me just photocopies will do for the registration but can’t ascertain whether that goes for the embassy too. So I’m trying to get a firsthand information from those who’ve been through the process

Unfortunately I don’t know dear. This is a question you have to ask directly to Niied or the GKS coordinators of universities you’re interested in.

in my mother voter ID father surname is missing and for that I am submitted affidavit government documents that prove my father name is this and voter ID information is correct so important things is do I need to apostille the affidavit (govt document)

Your money can be in dollars. You can change some of it at the Korean airport when you arrive. You can get the sum after you arrive or before. Depends on your preference
