Hi Praveen, I'm doing great. hope you too! 1. Yes it is mandatory to get apostiled birth certificate. This is needed for legal registration in NL. 2. If you dont have one, you can get an affidavit notarized and then apostilled from MEA. This can be an alternative.

Only birth certificate and marriage certificate (If married) are mandatory to be apostillled. You can get it done from any 3rd party agencies in India. They will get it done for a nominal fee (may be 1.5K to 2K) That is better and easy option, I would say.
