What do you think was the most surprising thing we learned about Prince after his death?
@GenXfrom755 ай бұрын
Prince is life for me. I love this man. Love him. And it still hurts me to know he’s gone. That man was magic. 💜 Prince had no idea he was taking fentanyl. Those pills were marked as Watson hydrocodone. Whoever gave him those fake pills should be in prison 😢

Chronic pain. Accidental overdoses. Tom's could have been avoided though. If he would have gotten that fractured hip taken care of BEFORE he went on that BIG 40th anniversary tour, it wouldn't have turned in to a full on break. My heart is still 💔 💘

Interesting. Judith Hill was also with Michael Jackson the evening before he died. I didn't know until watching this that she was with Prince the day before he died, too. RIP to two musical icons. The truth will prevail someday.🎙️

Wondering when the unreleased material will be released? P.S., no matter how old you are, get a will, power of attorney, and have your bills, bank info in a file, one place, for easiest estate closing. Update it every year. Let your people know what your wishes are so they aren't shocked and fighting when you are gone (people get weird when someone passes, don't assume your group will be sane).

It's bizarre how people make comments about this man as if they knew him personally. Knowing his religious beliefs extremely well, what became most important to him was not wealth, fame and music but his love of his God and what he believed the future will bring. If you want to know about Prince, try finding out what he believed in.

Prince's catalog has not aged well. Like Thomas Dolby he's stuck in a certain time frame. I suspect that's what led to his demise, that sinking feeling that you're just another Elvis, frozen in time and no way out. Trapped in a gilded cage.
@BrianBeauchamp5 ай бұрын
Prince’s cause of death was PRIDE. That’s unfortunately common among some addicts. No judgement. Although he pretty much disappeared in the 90’s (because he couldn’t grasp the concept that other people commonly make money from his music), this ‘disappearance’ robbed the world from decades of new music. He was a self-important ass who decided to only work with and be interviewed by black people, but he was unusually talented. He lied about his addiction every day and that’s why he left the ER that day. Again, common. But for Prince, swallowing his pride would have made him more loved than ever, but broken people don’t deserve love - or so he obviously thought. It’s sad because he could have been saved. Honestly, a person that musically talented who DOESN’T have an addiction problem, would be strange. The history of great talents tells us that. RIP. I hope.
@GenXfrom755 ай бұрын
