Somebody finally said it, all them extra products do is clog your pores, pick you one moisturizer and cleanser and keep a clean diet. It’s really that simple

I'm so with you on 100% cotton!!! I hate that most clothes have polyester! It gets so hot and doesn't let the skin breathe!

My skin is sensitive and I use a MAX 5 products which works best for me, when I see people do a 10-12 step routine I’m in awe. My skin would be crying lol, simple is better in all aspects of life 🤗thanks for the video Kyra 😘happy holidays!!!

Hello Kyra, You’re absolutely right in saying that there are no anti-aging skincare and this comes from my dermatologist when I lived in Canada. He told me that I didn’t need it and that the only anti-aging product that people need is sunscreen.

Would love to see a video on how to create a minimalist wardrobe or things to look out for 💞 I am decluttering as well as upgrading my clothes specifically at thrift stores as well as gifts I get for new clothes

The amount of Shein clothing I see at thrift stores is ridiculous. I also have found that I can't find anything decent at thrift stores now

Kyra, I absolutely love your channel. You inspire me to live minimally and accept the aging process with grace. I identified with your talk about celebrities as a young girl. I grew up in the 90s and 00s and definitely wished or prayed to wake up and look like or be like those people. Thankfully, I now agree that it is a waste of time to obsess over them.

Yes! Dove sensitive skin bar soap and alcohol as my toner (I have oily skin). That’s it! I get compliments on my skin allllll the time.

A note to the skin elaborate care routines (and tie all the other consumption trends you see on social media like restocks) THESE ARE NOT REAL! They are ads. The influencer is just trying to cram as many products into 1 min as they can so you click on the links and buy the product. I would easily bet money that "routine" was never done again after that video.

I agree about the skincare. I just wash my face with dr bronners Castile soap, I use witch hazel as a toner and put rosehip oil and rose water on my face. That’s it! Simple and I like it! I’ve heard the minimal mom say it’s in the motion not the potion. So using whatever you use consistently is the answer.

Kyra your example as a minimalist since 2017 has been so inspiring especially in the area of closet declutter and now I own very few clothes (cotton) and it makes life so simple! I am going to take your advice and pull way back on restocking I got paranoid in 2020 and it is ok to let go now of “empty shelves” lol I confess I have an one obsession with edm DJs (trance genre)as thier music has helped me get through some pretty rough spots but I don’t do clubs or expensive festivals anymore Twitch has been a great money saver and I can still communicate with them live and support them in a more financially reasonable way. And you inspired me to make Spotify playlists :) I only use ivory soap and water and get so many compliments on my skin what an amazing commercial trip wire the skin care industry appears to be 😢 Once again thanks for all you do…❤️ have a great holiday!

I just wanna start with saying I love your videos! They are so inspiring! I know in a couple of your videos you were mentioning looking for a job. I just wanted to make a kind suggestion that may help you get more interaction in the comments. I think it would be cool in the outro to maybe say something like comment down below what you’re leaving in 2024. Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to make these videos for us! 😊

Overconsuming on skincare ruined my skin barrier and it took months to fix. I now dont use any AHA, BHA or acids. I stick to the basics, cleanser, moisteriser and spf. I do use an azelic acid topical cream when i get breakouts. That's it though.

I have a busy toddler and am pregnant with our 2nd baby and overwhelmed. If I can get as far as putting my contacts in every day, that’s fortunate. All I have time or energy for at night is moisturizer.

Your hair is beautiful! I’ve been a subscriber for a while but haven’t watched KZbin regularly in a bit, and I’m noticing you have more grey strands than I remember, I love them! Like you said, embracing aging and greys is something I love. Plus what you said about skincare, simpler is better. Literally just wash, moisturize, maybe throw in a retinol or something that’s PROVEN to work and SUNSCREEN. The biggie is facial sunscreen, not worth using a retinol or anti wrinkle agent if you aren’t using sunscreen. I need to get back into watching videos like yours regularly ❤
