Things WRONG with R400 BUMPERS

Today I discuss the flaws of the front and rear bumpers and all the work that had to be done to get them to fit right!

I feel your pain on all this😅 went through all this trouble like a year and a half ago, been so worth it since it's been done but I had all the same problems you did🤧

Let me say that ecs did not give me anywhere near as much trouble, we talked to ecs and maxton like once or twice and got some money back and a whole fresh kit straight from maxton, have the spare front and rear bumpers incase I trash what went on so that's nice too

@@joelgarza87 that's good to hear! ECS messed up on their end and lets say I got some extra things from them too. Seems like they don't really care too much! Rumor is when they got bought out by the company running it now the company fired all the old admins and basically ECS looks like a call center instead of a warehouse with car people trying to help other car people buy parts. The reason they are big is because at that time the investors were so rich they just sold things at a loss or break even to basically kill the competitor websites. If you ever call or talk to someone at ECS it is most likely that they will not know anything about cars. They just read a prompt and can tell you what the delivery status says.

At least this is what I've been told by some performance shops. Ecs is great for small things but I don't think I will be buying anything bigger than some nuts and bolts from them in the future.

I bought the R400 kit 4 years ago and I still have never installed the front bumper because it doesn't fit at all

You have to do custom mounting

Hey I got it off ECS Tuning but if you are outside US I'd suggest getting it from the actually company Maxton Design

That sounds like a pain in the ass. But I have a few questions. I live in Europe and I cant even find all those sweet body kit parts like you have. Where do I look? And that wing my dude, it´s awesome. Where can I get one? 😁

Wing is Battle Aero. Bumper is R400 style from Maxton Desgin in UK or ECS in USA. The widebody is a replica Castro cup kit that was just a 1 off I happen to find in Asia and got it shipped to US.
