Wow, the fact that you cleaned that rug shows how much you care about the inventory you sell! I have watched resellers who have their inventory (clothing especially) shoved all over the place. When I see things stored in a less desirable way, it makes me not want to buy from them. You take such good care of your inventory & are so organized, I would not hesitate to buy from you. (I just downsized, so I’m not looking to bring more items into my home at this time, but never say never😂) xo

Your closet is lovely. I would recommend a small 2 step folding step ladder to use to access the top shelves. It's safer than a step stool. It can be folded up and tucked behind the hanging pants. I admire your restraint in the size of your wardrobe.

I am in 3 vintage photo groups on Facebook.. Quite often people get their photos from auctions and flea markets then try to find descendants who are thrilled to get them back. It's tragic how many treasures get discarded by someone who doesn't care when there are family members that want them.

Love your videos! I enjoyed the scenery clip. My mom lives in New Holland. I think July is one of the most beautiful times of the year in Lancaster. My father was a produce farmer when I was younger and his goal was to have sweet corn by July 4th. It always depends on when you can get the seed in the ground and then water and temperatures after that. If the ground is to wet in the spring and it delays the planting, then it’s not ready for July 4th. 😄

I’m originally from NJ and used to go to PA at least once a year for a trip to the Lancaster area. I loved the Amish and antique shopping. Of course the country side is beautiful it reminds me of growing up on a beautiful dairy farm. I’m living in Phoenix now and I really miss the greenery ! Also it’s hot as heck here right now, gonna be 118 today, yikes! Thank you for a really nice start to my day ! So happy to see you and Roger settling in as a married couple now. You could have a lot more space in the basement if you put all the clothing from the round racks on double racks kind of like the system in your closet. You could build or buy the good racks and make sure to put the heavier items on the bottom or anchor them so they wouldn't fall over. Organization makes me happy and I try but you are the Queen! Thanks for sharing!

The corn you see along your route, looks like field corn. It won't be harvested until late Oct. early Nov. depending on how much it dries. Farmers want it within a certain low moisture content, in order for it to be stored in silos so it won't get moldy.

Hi Karen: As an Air Force dependent I went to school inn Japan from age 8.5-12.5. We had wonderful weekly Japanese culture classes. One of the classes was learning how make Sumi ink and to write lovely Japanese letter art with this ink set. You put water in the little dish. Then dip brush, put water drops on big black block then take the small rubbing ink block and rub water back and forth into block, adding more water til you make ink into hollow of lg. block, then dip brush in large block well and paint w black made ink.
