Wow, the fact that you cleaned that rug shows how much you care about the inventory you sell! I have watched resellers who have their inventory (clothing especially) shoved all over the place. When I see things stored in a less desirable way, it makes me not want to buy from them. You take such good care of your inventory & are so organized, I would not hesitate to buy from you. (I just downsized, so I’m not looking to bring more items into my home at this time, but never say never😂) xo

Your closet is lovely. I would recommend a small 2 step folding step ladder to use to access the top shelves. It's safer than a step stool. It can be folded up and tucked behind the hanging pants. I admire your restraint in the size of your wardrobe.

I am in 3 vintage photo groups on Facebook.. Quite often people get their photos from auctions and flea markets then try to find descendants who are thrilled to get them back. It's tragic how many treasures get discarded by someone who doesn't care when there are family members that want them.

Love your videos! I enjoyed the scenery clip. My mom lives in New Holland. I think July is one of the most beautiful times of the year in Lancaster. My father was a produce farmer when I was younger and his goal was to have sweet corn by July 4th. It always depends on when you can get the seed in the ground and then water and temperatures after that. If the ground is to wet in the spring and it delays the planting, then it’s not ready for July 4th. 😄

Corn should be planted by the 4th and ready to pick around Early September. That’s what we do here on our farm (Seattle) but if it’s field corn they like to plant sooner so it gets chopped before all the rain
@Kate-oi6ct Жыл бұрын
You could have a lot more space in the basement if you put all the clothing from the round racks on double racks kind of like the system in your closet. You could build or buy the good racks and make sure to put the heavier items on the bottom or anchor them so they wouldn't fall over. Organization makes me happy and I try but you are the Queen! Thanks for sharing!
@deborahcostello8214 Жыл бұрын
In lower Delaware, so about 3 hours south of you, we are very happy if the corn comes in by the 4th of July, but usually get it by the 2nd week of July. We were close to the 4th this year so I would think yours would be about 2 weeks after that due to you being further north. Just a guess, I'm not a farmer.

The corn you see along your route, looks like field corn. It won't be harvested until late Oct. early Nov. depending on how much it dries. Farmers want it within a certain low moisture content, in order for it to be stored in silos so it won't get moldy.
