While working on the thumbnail I realised that when Lilac panicked when Blue tried to take a photo at their date, she lost all her colour except for the purple in her necklace, and her ex is purple so I think it was a symbol for how he still has a hold on her bc of the trauma he gave her. My mothers ex that she broke up with not too long ago abused her mentally too, he threatened her, saying he would hit or punch her if she called the cops or disobeyed him, he manipulated her, and he wanted her to spend all her time with him not giving her any time to spend time with me, it also had some effect on me, he said that i was doing everything wrong and he told my mother everything “wrong” i did, she would end up grounding me for something I normally do, making me feel like a terrible child. Theres more that happened but i dont wanna be annoying by writing a long comment/reply.

Also something I wanted to talk about (mini theory) when Lilac confronts Blue about the picture he took of her when she was sleeping [Unlike when she’s talking about blue and pink?’s relationship blue looks normal] he looks like his villainized self so I think that shows how she’s starting to see blue the way he sees himself (abut that’s my theory)

Something I want to add 0:49 "Hoarder of quarters" can also mean he's calling/seeing many people at once (back then to call someone you'd need a quarter to pay for using a public phone) and could be refrence to the original meaning of Baby Hotline. Then again, your interpretation makes a lot more sense in hindsight haha. Edit: there is a strange... interaction going on in my replies.

Tbh this could also make a lot of sense since Vic recently posted on his usual acc's comunity post some things abt Blue's flaw with Magenta in the cover maybe showing she picked up on his playboy energy so that ties with ur interpretation of "Hoarder of quarters" and also another post with drawings from when Blue was in a healthy relationship with Pink, he talked abt how he feels Pink is what he rlly needed and in the second pic it was cut off but I think he said "Not anything serious" so I feel like it goes with a part I mentioned in the vid that he doesn't know how to act in a serious relationship, so it's outside his comfort zone, so maybe both of our interpretations work

I also have another interpretation/idea to add on of the whole "rose tinted glasses" and the fact that based on Victaton's community post, it has been confirmed that Blue doesn't love Lilac romantically nor platonically but s3xu@lly. The rose tinted glasses could be a metaphor on how Blue wants to think or at least pretend that he loves Lilac and every time it cracks this fantasy that he could possibly have a healthy, functioning relationship with Lilac is cracking. Just a thought though.

For me the pink glasses represent 2 things,first,the proverb of "La vie en rose" in French,like,seeing life in pink, it being happy and no harm anywhere,and also it could be represent,well, Pink,the character,the glasses breaking meaning that Blue is slowly breaking the power Pink has on him,but also his sanity,him trying to do no wrong but thinking he is doing everything wrong

Thank you for making this video. I’ve watched “Baby Hotline” and have missed the small details. “WUTIWANT” part 2 was a shocker. I respect Vic for creating this fandom and bringing people together by making their own OCs with a story of their own to tell in order to cope and connect with others (a while back Vic stated that he doesn’t want other people’s OCs involved in Blue’s story). I also heard that a GachaTuber named WideDoggy made their own S/A awareness series but then I remembered that WideDoggy had som controversies such as drawing NSFW art of underage characters, making a triggering crossover AU, another triggering AU, tracing drama with another KZbinr, and I can feel bad vibes from them all around. The characters WideDoggy uses for their S/A awareness series aren’t the color people Vic uses. Honestly, I think Vic did it better since he doesn’t have any past controversies. Also, the color people makes it easier to see yourself in the characters, especially if you relate to them. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for Blue. From what I know, future parts may not be made with Gacha Life 2 in order to reach a more mature audience.

I think that Vic said the Heart Shaped Glasses represented romance? If so, it means that Blue thought he could have a relationship with someone but, the more they date and talk, the more he realizes that he only wants s€x. Vic post about Post traumatized Blue (a lil comic/drawing) showing that he was happy to have met Pink ('cause she knows what she wants: no relation, just s€x). I believe, like you mentioned, that this is a "flaw" of Blue: he isn't into romantic relationships (that's why he doesn't buy flowers for Lilac) but only wants s€x.

1:54 pink does hate men but i dont really think its a gender thing here. in lovefool she gets awfully irritated whenever red is around blue, but she doesn't take her anger out on blue himself. thats cause red was the one who was interested in him and in baby hotline its blue who tries to get with lilac.. even though, pink still kind of pushes her away in 2:42

I found another thing ya’ll might’ve missed, in baby hotline (i believe part 2) pink kisses light pink and she wipes the kiss off, blue then tries to wipe his marks off however his marks dont wipe off. Im not sure what this is meant to represent but its just a small thing i noticed. (Also, someone saw it before me and i just thought i’d mention it.)

No no, pink is very jealous over the fact blue is getting over her because at first blue I'm pretty sure wanted pink but pink was with her husband but not only that pink took advantage of blue in many horrible ways (SA) and blue is trying to move on and pink is trying to keep a hold of him.
