Mitch is actually the only game reviewer/journalist I really like. Funny story, but Mitch actually got me into Dark Souls in like 2010. He was with GameFront and did a lets play/walkthrough that I watched out of boredom. It got me wicked interested in the game and started a 14 year obsession with the series. I've played them 1000's of hours now. Funny that he's also in the fighting game sphere too. Cool to see he's doing well though!

In the movelist, her 1+2 throw says "Power up based on Heaven and Earth level" so my guess is that at Max Level (3), the throw will give a hard wall splat. Certain moves are said to get powered up depending on Heaven and Earth level; db+3 f,f+4,3 HVN+1 HVN+2 HVN+1+2 uf+1+2 d+1+2 (downed punch)

DF2 on CH in T7 gave a knockdown into guaranteed flip-over with TAW2. So yeah, heat engage now instead seems fair, although df2 itself looks completely different. Less range, perhaps?

I agree, the hard thing about Lidia not being a legacy character is the lack of muscle memory when it comes to defending against her compared to the majority of the cast. For me I usually avoid ranked for 2-3 weeks because by then all the lab monsters will have all the anti stance/anti Lidia tech figured out lol

after ff2 she is forced into horse stance, and her fastest move in horse stance is i16, so she actually has no frametraps from ff2 on block. Plus the ff2 input takes more than 13f since you gotta physically press the f input twice. I think people are overreacting here

What? We've known since the season pass was announced (before the game came out) that we were only getting one character per season. Eddy was for Spring. Lydia was for Summer. Summer started June 20th. If you were expecting her before then, that's your fault. It ends September 22nd. If you are expecting the next character before October, that's also your fault. They aren't moving slow, they are keeping to the schedule they announced. And in between that they completely rebalanced the majority of the roster and made mechanical changes to the game. Plus SF6 did the same thing their first year. Rashid: July 24th, A.K.I. September 27th, Ed: February 27th, Akuma: May 22nd. I swear y'all just love to complain about nothing.

If the company says Summer than people aren't wrong to hope it comes around the earliest possible time. If Bandai Namco actually had their shit together they would've put an actual date. They even could've put July there instead of just Summer a whole 3 month window cos they failed to hammer down a release date. People aren't wrong in feeling abit pissed. That's their right.

Because IGN's target audience isn't hardcore Tekken players and 10 minutes is a good length for an introductory video? Being able to distill complex information into a short span of time and have it stick for people is a skill. I wish more content creators with their two-hour 'guides' (that are just them sat in training mode exhaustively listing every move and its frames as if a fraction of that information will sink in) would take note. (Not aimed at Phi; he's good at distilling stuff too.)
