These land laws are everywhere in the world, in Asia it is often 20 years lease. So African laws are not as strict yet to benefit Africans as the Middle East and Asia. So African leaders are still behind in that case. You can't open a business in many countries in Asia and the Middle East without locals owning a share of your business. That's what I call developing a country together with its citizens. That system helped create a huge middle class instead of a cheap slave workforce.

I agree with that. Foreign people or corporations should NOT be able to buy up all prime real estate and force the locals out. Plenty examples of that around the world.

That's the million dollar question. I know there's usually a renewal clause inserted into the contract, but this varies between 20% to 40% of the original lease term. Now, the question is what happens when this renewal period elapses. I don't feel this was sufficiently addressed by Rush or by any of the content creators out there. This could be an area where Rush can explore further with the help of a legal expert

My understanding is the renewal process is limited by the Constitution. A seller can put however many renewals in the contract but that doesn’t make it legal and challenged by the descendants of the original owner. I wish someone would address what the actual law says in detail
