I've had this controller since about April last year (New year is weird lol). It's been a great controller and it really seems to be the best for 2d games. And works decently for 3d games. But it really does shine with 2d the most. I don't often use the back buttons myself since I've never gotten used to those. It's such a great controller although I do prefer the Pro Controller layout more because I'm most used to Xbox controllers. And I love it has a rechargeable battery but can also take AA batteries if needed. I also really love how I can super easily connect to my phone and adjust the functions in just minutes. 8BitDo really thinks their stuff out so well!

I'd like to offer some other insight into the controller. The thumbsticks are a bit closer together than other ds4 style sticks. It isn't terrible, but is possible to sometimes bump thumbs together when pushing them both inward. I also found the thumbsticks to be way to slick on the top. I've never had a problem with other controllers like this. They were so slick I considered returning them. I instead tried some thumbstick covers and that fixed them. I used the ds4 sized ones. Switch covers are too small. The face buttons also feel stiff to push. I can use them just fine, but they don't feel as natural as 1st party buttons. So I agree it's fine for the price, and really nice for compatibility with multiple devices. For me I use it as my travel controller (I got the case for it) for my Steam Deck, Switch, android phone, and tablet.

Really appreciate your calm demeanour, nice change from other reviews who feel they have to yell or constantly crack cringy jokes. One request though, in the future could you talk a little more about how the buttons feel on a controller? Thanks so much!

Is there any preferred charging adapter wattage for this?
@iReviewThis11 ай бұрын
I’m not sure if there is a preferred wattage adapter, but I normally plug straight into the switch dock with the USB C cable. It hasn’t failed me yet and I haven’t noticed a drop off in battery life.

how does it perform with games that requires aiming?
@iReviewThis11 ай бұрын
It’s not bad, there is enough resistance with the sticks, and with some time and practice, you definitely can become accustomed to this style of controller. Although I much prefer the Xbox or switch pro controller shape when playing FPS games.
