I watch all of this content and it's taken me to the highest level of performance, conscientiousness/awareness and self-respect.. Appreciate all you do Grant! The hardest part is being humble and acknowledging the part that you play in everything and then having the courage to address/change/improve things that you naturally believe to be 'normal' or 'okay' or 'no big deal' or 'just how I am'.. No matter which situation you're in, most of the time, there's something in your control you can do to change the outcome, at least for you. The only cause for disappointment is expectation..so change those and your behavior...you'll be surprised at how far you can go! -Rich Baran

What’s the before and current looking like?

@@Simply.Gavinn Before: homeless, jobless, hopeless, drinking heavy, horrible at taking responsibility for my actions and avoidant of accountability, sloppy, rude, brash, tactless.. Some pretty serious bad things happened (friend suicide, near death accident and more..). Now: Sober for 18 months and going, lost bunch of weight, reading 2 books a month, new job, promoted 3 times in 18 months..high income earner now, fitness, prayer, meditation, accountability, planning, helping and working with others, growth-minded and grateful. I'm now a top performing tech sales manager that's hitting the highest numbers ever and continuing to set new goals for even higher places.. Most people from just a few years ago are absolutely shocked that I am where I am and asking me for support, advice and help. Toxic family and friends are speechless, old friends crawling out of the woodworks to get close.. On this path it's a natural progression to shed people from your life. Especially when you become numb to adversity and challenges, you see obstacles as normal (even the really difficult ones) and recognize that you don't have time for people who hold you down and spread scarcity. The world is abundant and we can all do more for each other...but it starts with doing more for ourselves first..imo

@@Simply.Gavinn Before: My life was chaos. I was homeless, consumed by addiction, running from responsibility, and stuck in a scarcity mindset. I carried the weight of family trauma, heartbreak, and self-doubt, living day-to-day with no sense of purpose or direction. I was lost, angry, and in survival mode, barely scraping by emotionally, mentally, and financially. After: Today, I am the complete opposite of who I used to be. I’ve built a career where I’ve been promoted multiple times, helped grow my company’s revenue from $1.2M to $12M, and now lead high-performing teams. I make six figures, co-parent my daughter in a stable home, and have maintained sobriety for over 18 months, fueled by faith, resilience, and the drive to prove people wrong. I’ve cultivated a growth mindset, embraced leadership, and begun exploring bigger dreams-building apps, networking with entrepreneurs, and even laying the foundation to start my own company. And the best part? This is just the beginning. Every day, I wake up with purpose, gratitude, and the unwavering belief that I’m here to make an impact-not just for myself, but for others who feel stuck like I once did.

Having a perfect path wouldn’t guarantee success… people and the structure of “communities” builds character and that path that also leads to success… Believe what you wanna believe and follow what you wanna follow just know people in general can somehow help you in the long term as long as YOU don’t take certain things for granted because then it would end up to the reason why this guys made this video
