I have to say It's super duper helpful, at first there were always pauses when I spoke English, now I feel like my speaking skills are getting better. I also do what you suggested us to Rachel :). I memorize English words as new words, not translated words which helps me to say things faster rather than thinking in my native language first and then translate it to English
