Have you found that even the small Jets will take the bag in the overhead compartment? Or would you have to store under the seat in front of you? The last thing I would want is to gate check this bag with all my equipment in it.

Hi Jay, I'm sorry, but I have never taken this on a small jet, so I honestly don't know the answer to your question. If I tried to answer, I would be making things up.

Hi, thanks for this review....i wandering...is my 7D mk II with with battery pack fitting in this back? I want it on the same place as yours.....i am afraid that the depth of the back is not enough. I just don't want the camera in an other way in the back......I have lots of Think Tank bags, my wife is a pro photographer to, but never found a bag that is not to big......i am tending to switch to Tenba, because they have a nice hybride rolling backpack, but the quality is not that high as TT.

I would totally be lying if I said that I knew for sure about the battery grip. I don't use one, so this is only a guess. I THINK that it should fit just fine with the grip attached. I'm lucky enough to live near a couple of great camera shops. If I get into one in the near future, and they have a grip I can borrow, I'll check it out for you!

Thanks Mark, Yesterday i was in one of the biggest camera shops in the Netherlands, just as you i live nearby. I have seen and feel the bag. The camera with the batterypack is not fitting in this bag, So you have to remove the batterypack every time you put the camera in the bag, or remove your lens and put the lens and your camera separately in the bag. So, this is not the bag for me. Thanks for your fast answer and your stunning review of this bag.
