You didn't pull the 750 all the way out so I couldn't really see. Did the d750 have a grip on it? Will a gripped body fit in that position?

Hi jrpseky, to answer your questions, No I did not have a grip on the D750. I don't think the D750 with a grip will fit in that spot. There is only 4" of height space in that compartment. My D5 sticks up in that spot. As I explain in the video there is extra material along the middle of the top half of the bag due to the space on the backside needed for the shoulder straps.

Thanks for the reply. I knew the center area wasn't as deep that is where the handle is. But I didn't know how deep.

When you go through airport security, can you take out your laptop with just unzip the top portion? Do you have to open the entire bag to take out a laptop?Thanks

Sitti2300 there’s only one zipper opening into the main compartment which is where the laptop pocket is. So no you can’t just take out the laptop without opening up the bag.

What is the difference between this bag and the Takeoff v2? Specs looks very similar.

Kenny Tran The Takeoff is 2" wider then this one, it's not as deep as the Streetwalker and it's over a 1/2lb heavier then the Streetwalker. The Takeoff also has the notebook compartment on the outside where as the Streetwalker is in the inside. Besides all that it looks like to me that the Takeoff is a little more hard sided compared to the Streetwalker. I haven't tried the Takeoff but I liked the Streetwalker because it's small and those little differences add up. Hope this helps.

Hello, Well I tend to use mostly Thinktank because it's a name I trust. Not saying anything against Vanguard but I've never used them so I don't know what their bags are like. From looking at the two, the size is about the same, Vanguards looks sturdy but I think the Streetwalker looks a little stronger. The laptop compartment is bigger on the Steetwalker but not by much. So they seem very alike the one big difference is that the Vanguard has four wheels and Streetwalker has two. I don't like four wheels, never have. They make the bag look big which is opposite of the point. So those are my thoughts, hopefully it helps. Sorry I couldn't provide a more direct answer.
