I often ride off trails amid the forest on State and Federal gated graveled truck roads. Which were surrendered to Mother Nature. In the last decade their extent were given another 300 miles. I guess that is why we have never seen each other, correct ?

I hate to say it, but the new camera setup is dialed. I really like it. After riding the new full face last weekend, I'm tempted to try this. Great video. That hill you guys dropped was soooooo massive when you saw it from the bottom. You are a stud!

That looked steep AF even with the gopro effect. HUGE roll. I'd have to take a look at it in person to see if I wanted to give it a shot. I've done ones that steep but not that big. And ones that big but smooth roll in to a jump. But nothing that big, rooty and steep all together. Props for hitting it!

You’re young. You’ll find out soon enough what havoc not stretching can do later. I stretch before riding big adventure bike. Way better rider due to it. Helps you stay limber on the bike and reaction times tend be faster. Which Transition was Jesse riding? I’m up in BC and want to head down to try one out.

Warm up before physical exercise, stretch afterwards! Stretching before just increases your chance of injury because during the physical activity at hand you'll be able to stretch pass the point of your normal flexibility and you can tear the muscle. Amazing line BTW!!!

@jdavis4176 жыл бұрын
Wrong! They absolutely do. You've never seen cats stretch? Seriously though, if you're going to do athletic activities, you're not immune to the logic of warming up and stretching. You will perform better, suffer fewer injuries and build better muscle. We've got to be smart to survive a cougar attack, even if it's in name only (Cougar Ridge... smell what I did there?)! ;)
@jdavis4176 жыл бұрын
I should qualify my previous statement a little bit. I see loads of people, many who are younger, stronger, more skilled and better equipped than I am, who take a 5 mile lap (for instance) then load up the bike and leave. Yes, they can drop me very quickly but I'll go 2-4 times further than they will. Not to impune their cocksmanship, but I have to question how far their lack of staying power extends. (kidding, but not really kidding) :P Now... "ride every day"?!?! NO!!! You don't work out every day! You must rest and recover. I've been accused of taking things too seriously many, many times but that's just how I roll (and it's served me pretty well... except the hundreds and thousands of times it didn't). That being said, I only really compete with myself when biking (that might change next year when I overcome my schizophrenia) but, even then, I've got to "progress" or I don't think I'd even bother. I probably take myself too seriously though (since I'm not "all that"). ;) kzbin.info/www/bejne/mJWWmGOBbrCfeKs

Every time I try to be silly I get lectured. Go watch the Woody Harrelson's movie Zombieland. Perhaps you will see why I typed in this comment. We are quite aware of the importance of stretching. Thanks for looking out for us.
