That is incredible. Wish you would post more often. I love your projects. Will be ordering one for my wife and I. Will be epic to do our Snake River Canyon runs with these babies! I'm hoping to be able to run a Hacker Inrunner BL motor as I did with my Nano Goblin. Unfortunately, I had a controlled flight into a mountain face at 80mph with my Nano and it was nothing but EPP chunks when I went to retrieve it

I don't normally whine, but I sure wish mine would get here soon. Seems like it's been forever... Am still thinking about a small EDF... maybe a 3s 40mm. With me... I never do a plane "stock". Am not concerned about 250g weight really. I did get the full-on Micro HDZERO package with the 540p camera option. Did get a better antenna than a straight dipole. Can't wait to get this plane up and running.

your nano goblin design is one of my all time fav fpv planes. I need to get one of these to compliment the stable. Can you comment on how/if the facet opal experimental kit plane was influential?

I like planks a lot, found the Facet Opal at some point in my research and that layout helped CG things better than the Goblin layout at this particular scale.

I just ordered Flik Wing but I cannot find any info on how much it weighs. Will it be still under 250g with a 4S battery? Could you please add that info on the product page? Thanks.

Looking at 65 grams for the everything before you start adding electronics. From there, you can get a good idea what the final weight will be with whatever electronics you choose. The idea behind this airframe is that you can have a 2S 18650 battery, autopilot, telemetry and DJI 03 on the airplane at 250 grams or less. If you vary from that, you'll need to work it out.

What do you mean by "CG 5 mm in front of that mark"? In the Video it looks like your shifting the CG to back of the wing, not to the front?

Love what you do but between $80.00 and $145.00 for a form plane is crazy, I dread to think what the final price is for shipping to the UK. I'm gutted, as I would have bought one if it were a reasonable price.

To give you a bit of context, at the price we are selling it, after everyone else gets paid I am making precisely 0$ at this point. I may get something out of this in the future (maybe not), but from my perspective, its free. If you take the simplistic view that it should be the price of the foam beads that comprise the airframe, you'll never be happy with the cost of any plane.

Do you have any idea what it likely cost them to have this mold made? This shit doesn't happen by accident. Do you notice that all the good hobby shops have closed down? That is because everyone is so damn cheap. Don't come down on the designer, come down on the people you elect, for causing your dollar to be worth peanuts.

The camera micro shots are not very helpful. Leave the camera focus on an item instead of 100 shots per second one after the other.

I didn't understand what you meant when I started watching, but even just a few minutes in its gotten painful. High frequency cuts might be cool for content, but not for a tutorial. Especially watching at 2x, jeez. Cool wing though, can't wait to get mine!

@@thinkflight this model only has two fins and so, the mixing settings on mission planner need some work to make it function well. The regular use is with separated elevator and rudder. But this one has only two for all three functions. What you did here is the mixing on the transmitter. but how to setup the mission planner for it?
