I remember when I traded my Mitsubishi Eclipse spider 2002. It was a nice ride for the time I had it. It was cool to have the top down. But it was stick and I was in the army and yo my knees. Many years later I have a 2015 RS convertible Camaro and I love it. Automatic for me.

In my SS as you know by having one it gets dark in there I have the led car strip in mines. Might help out as well with your truck. If you decide to keep it. Great content!

Ive heard your reasons and ur concerns about Jake. My recommendation is to trade him in for a 2017 or 2018 Dodge R/T or GT (the V6) AWD. Not only can this drivetrain handle SOME snow, it’ll be a great daily as-well-as a coo addition to the C3VA car club. Hope this helped!

Forgot to add, I don't want to do it myself (have considered it recently), but trading in both vehicles for a new one you like is another option. There is decent deals on new vehicles. You just have to set the limits to anywhere and narrow down shipping cost vs driving distance for the best price.

That’s true, it would be hard to sell the Jeep but it would really break my heart if I sold the Camaro 😅

I agree, as others have said before me, Jeeps have their fans but they are slow, loud, get lousy mileage, malfunction often (yeah Chrysler) and unless you intend to use it for its better purposes such as off roading, etc. why have it? If you need a second all wheel drive sort (like our RAV 4) find anything in the Japanese market and you'll get better dependability, mileage and comfort.
@aldaley35373 жыл бұрын
The poor mileage is due to the four wheel drive system. In the long run, this is more reliable, being a manual with less planned obsolescence technology. In my opinion, the newer models, even though they are easy on the eyes, are a pain after the manufactures warranty expires. I would keep it. That monthly payment is really good.

You forgot to mention you changed the mirrors. Being a Jeep owner, I can tell you your upgrades are not that much. You can always remove some of them and install them back in a newer JK. Jake has a 3.8 engine, and from 2012 thru 2018, JK’s came with 3.6 Pentastar that have better gas mileage. If you go to a 4 door JK or a JL, your monthly payments will go thru the roof. But maybe you can trade it for a newer 2 door automatic JK and the monthly payments might not be all that bad. Do you still have the factory bumper and lights? Switch them back and keep your investment! Just a thought cause I came to your channel because of the Jeep.

Your jeep is nice, but you should wait until you can afford trade it in , don't make it hard on yourself, I'm thinking about doing the same thing , I have two vehicle too , supercharger mustang, and my ford escape I want to get another Durango but i guess it's not time , I'm in Michigan I need that 4 wheel drive. When it's time you will know it, keep doing what you doing. You doing great 👍

I had my 1999 Jeep Wrangler for 17 years before deciding to trade in for my 2016 wrangler. I drove manual for many years before going to the automatic. My left knee thanks me now. I loved the old Jeep but it was time to let go. Always remember the beauty of owning a Jeep is the build. Also don’t sell the Camaro 😉
@TA_Plus_Hemi3 жыл бұрын
Is your knee the main issue? If so honestly I don't see a way around it. I do daily a Challenger 6-spd but I prefer manual in anything. It seems the new car market is almost reduced to sales by order only. Prices are so outrageous most dealers can't afford to stock their lots, and then the mark ups... Lord only knows if this market availability adjustment pricing will end or get worse. No matter what though you should check those pricing trends and act to fit your needs, not forgetting the variable of your knee and future discomfort in and out of the Jeep. I will admit $185 is a good payment though.

If your smart, like I believe you are, you sell BOTH cars and focus on paying off your student loans. Your 30 now and at the rate your going, you will be 40 still paying on student loans, while your messing around making stupid car payments. I’ve watched you a lot and enjoy your videos cause I’m a camaro fan like you. But get those loans out of your life then go pay cash for your next jeep and camaro. We brother and sisters need to learn how not to give all our hard working money away making payments on depreciating assets. By the way, if you have to make payments, you couldn’t afford it.

Sell both vehicles and drive to work with what..???
@jjohnson4793 жыл бұрын
@@HerAutoPerspective get a $1000 or so car and get your student loan off your plate. You would be amazed how fast you can save up with NO payments and buy another camaro later. Your only 30. It took me until I was 45 to finally get the ‘89 IROC that I have always wanted. But I paid cash, fixed it up and I am debt free. I also have two other third gen and one 4th gen that I paid cash for. With no debt, I can do anything to then I want. CASH. You can too.
@HerAutoPerspective3 жыл бұрын
@@jjohnson479 I see your point, but I have 2 reliable vehicles right now. Selling both an settling for an unreliable and old $1,000 car that would probably leave me stranded is not worth it in my opinion. I’m on track to pay off my loans in less than 5 years so I would rather stay on the path I’m on
